   My husband was delighted by the surprise anniversary stay at the Sofitel. Alessandro the GM and Anita the head of housekeeping organised a rose petal delight and fresh fruit on arrival which we loved. We also had a delicious three course meal at La Belle Epoque with excellent service from Shilani, Shaishab & Nidhi. Finally we had a scrumptious breakfast with a warm welcome from Victor. Highly recommended for a celebratory night out and stay! The hotel is also perfectly placed at the airport for a stress free airport stay.

   I always stay at the Sofitel when flying home from LHR. There is no other hotel located pretty much in the airport terminal and with an early morning flight nothing is more convenient. I love that they keep the wheeled trolleys there so you can just wheel your luggage out the front door and literally minutes away from the departure level, so for that I rate it a 10. The rooms are spacious and come with bathrobes, slippers and free bottled water. The restaurant serves very good food and there is more than one place to eat in the hotel. However on this occasion there was so much wrong with my room: - The iron ruined my sweater. It put black stains on it. - The shower head is the smallest ever with very little water pressure and water could not get any hotter than warm. - The mini refrigerator was warm at best. - There is no TV Guide on the TV, only channel guides so you have to constantly be pressing up or down on the remote and go through every single channel until you find something you might want to watch. The room was 3305 so I would recommend staying away from it.

   As the hotel is connected directly to terminal 5 . It makes it easy to do the night before check in, buy any last minute essentials landside, or even have a meal or drink. The room was quiet and comfortable. I had checked in on line so a very quick wait upon arrival for our key, and we were relaxing in our room. Beds comfortable, bathroom a good size. We didn't book breakfast as our flight was at 8am and we didn't want to rush. We grabbed a quick coffee and croissant at the gate, before boarding . Service is quiet and understated, but always consistent. For ease and convenience we would always recommend a stay here.

   Lovely stay with excellent recognition of ALL membership. The staff in the lounge was impeccable and made us fell welcome and well looked after. As much as the staff was great, the management team was not (the overall three stars are for them). A proper dress code should be a must for the lounge. The stink and view of certain male body parts ruined the otherwise very nice experience. T5, Elizabeth Line, Heathrow Express, Tube, and Taxi are all within walking distance.

   Spent the night in the hotel before flying off to Athens. There is a covered walk to Terminal 5. Maria the receptionist greeted us and was so welcoming, friendly and professional. We checked in and checked out fabulous room. King-size bed, shower cubicle and separate bath, towelling robes and slippers. Loads of extras, natural loofah scrub and Balmain toiletries. We had breakfast the next morning and there was everything you could wish for. Highly recommended. It's not cheap but a perfect way to start your holiday. View of runway, room very quiet.

   Unquestionably worth the higher cost compared to other hotels in this area for two reasons: (1) It’s the only one actually in the airport, it’s clearly signed and you walk through a long corridor and bridge to the reception. Totally saves time before the flight as other places that claim to be close require getting on a bus! (2) The bed is next level DREAMY. I had the best sleep!! Make sure you set multiple alarms as I could easily have slept through and missed my flight because the duvet/pillow nest was so comfortable!

   We had such a nice stay here. The rooms are comfortable and the location was perfect. But by far and away it was the staff who made it such a great experience. I have never been treated so nicely. I felt like a VIP. The doorman in particular was a real star. There was no parking near the entrance and we wanted to check in and then take our car to valet parking. He made that such an easy process and was full of helpful information. All the staff were smiley and had a can do attitude. Bosses if you read this the training is working and these people need rewarding. They are doing a great job. The only negative is the pricing. £11.25 for two coffees is a new record for me. Also 5.00 for a large cup sized green salad. But overall the rooms, location and lovely service were worth paying for.

   Great hotel to stay at when you are flying out of Heathrow. Easy access to terminal 5, and then to the other terminals via the free train that runs between them Rooms are large and have plenty of room to relax, while the bathrooms have TVs built into the mirrors. There are a few hidden features in the room such as the built in night light. Room service is excellent, for both dinner and breakfast. As is the main restaurant itself. Even though you are as close to the airport as you can get there in no noise at all from the aircraft landing and taking off.

   We stayed here overnight before early morning flight. Hotel package included car parking which is in the hotels underground car park. Check in was easy, the room was modern, clean and spacious. The bathroom was also very clean and even had a TV over the bath. The food we had from the lounge was good as was the service. It is a big hotel and was very busy during our stay. Up early the following day and it is a short walk to the departures terminal. A very good experience from start to finish and will use again.
