I recently had the pleasure of celebrating my daughter's 5th birthday and our group friend Christmas at this lovely pub/hotel and it was a huge success! We were a large group of 35 adults and children. The staff were fantastic, accommodating, and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious and we were also able to hire an entertainer for the children which was a huge hit. There didn’t seem to be anything this pub couldn’t do for us. The riverside setting was stunning, and we couldn't have asked for a better atmosphere. Highly recommend for any special occasion, celebration or simply just a casual bite. Thank you!

Visiting this pub by the Thames in Chertsey was a wonderfully nostalgic experience for me and my sister. We both grew up coming here as children back when it had a small indoor play area, and over the years we watched it change into various types of pubs—but somehow never found ourselves returning. This visit was especially meaningful, as we came back in memory of our mother, who grew up in Chertsey herself. From the moment we arrived, everything felt just right. The parking was easy and felt secure—just don’t forget to ask for your chip before you leave, or you’re not getting out! A small detail, but it definitely made us smile. Inside, the pub is absolutely stunning. Beautiful old photographs, charming décor, and a warm atmosphere made us feel right at home. We chose to sit outside, and even in November the setting was incredible. The view over the Thames is gorgeous, and despite the chilly weather, the outdoor space was thoughtfully designed: outside heaters, a huge canopy covering the entire seating area, and even blankets laid out for guests—a truly lovely touch. The seating was so comfortable that we found ourselves happily lingering longer than planned. We ordered drinks and something to eat, and everything was delicious. The staff were kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, which made the experience even more enjoyable. After all these years away, coming back felt special—comforting, familiar, and full of wonderful surprises. We will definitely be returning.

Very nice hotel in a splendid location at a lovely part of the River Thames. very clean room with helpful and friendly staff throughout. Large queen size bed in standard room which is still bigger than most equivalent hotel rooms. All facilities are good and function well. restaurant serves throughout the whole day. Excellent stay with location just over half a mile ito the small town of Chertsey with many quaint shops and foodie places.

Myself and my wife booked for a night away as we had not seen each other for a long time. Due to my job and working away. After a long day travelling we booked to have food (Which was fantastic) as I might say this is our third time staying in this lovely Hotel. We arrived back to the hotel at around 21:00 and started to settle down the the night but was unable to due to the Party going on Below us. The music was so loud that our room was shaking and the Lamp shades moving. (No problem with the party just maybe they should not sell rooms that are directly effected by the noise) My wife went down at around 21:30 to ask if we could me moved rooms due to the noise. We was told “No” by the gentleman as they were fully booked. He was not very polite in the matter as told us we would have to wait till around 23:00. We was unable to relax that night and enjoy our night away which we had paid for. On check out we spoke to a lady and told her of our concerns and that we did not have a good night sleep due to the noise (The Party). The lady just apologised that was it. It would have been nice to be offered some sort of compensation/gesture of good will as they were unable to move us rooms. It is a lovely place and lovely food would definitely return again.

I had a great stay at The Bridge. Check-in was quick and the staff were really friendly, which made everything easy from the start. The room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet considering the location, so noise was never a problem. Parking was simple and convenient, which was a big plus. I also tried the restaurant and the menu had a really good mix of options—everything I ordered was tasty. Overall, I was really happy with my stay here. Good service, good food, and no stress. I’d definitely come back next time I’m in the area.

My boyfriend and I just wanted to come for some dinner and wasn’t expecting much but we were so happy with our visit. We were served mainly by Drew. He was amazing and made us feel so comfortable! We will definitely be visiting again. :)

This is a great pub! We have visited many times and never been disappointed. It is in a great location by the Thames and right next door to the caravan site we regularly stay at. I have to say that even if we weren't bringing our caravan down with us we would definitely consider staying here, for location, service, and good food. Keep up the good work.

We were staying at the campsite next door and came here for a meal. We did something we never do in pubs and ordered the steak. It came with chips and rocket and an onion. The steak tasted nice and cooked how we like it) but oh my it was so chewy. The pub is nice enough though, a good range of seating inside and outside and it's dog friendly.

I can't rate this hotel highly enough. From the warm welcome we received on arrival to the exceptional service in the restaurant, everything was well-delivered. We had a family room which was spacious and clean The breakfast the following morning was amazing. And all really reasonably priced, I would love to return if I'm ever back in the area.

Our room was fantastic with a very comfortable bed and lovely furnishings. We had French doors with a beautiful view of the river. The Staff were very friendly and helpful from the moment the room was booked. I received two phone calls from Beth checking our requests for an early check-in and taxi, which were both accommodated. We had a lovely dinner and breakfast on the deck overlooking the river and park. Would definitely recommend The Bridge and will return!
