Always stay at the Crown as its very nice in every respect. The staff are friendly polite and professional. The rooms are clean spacious and comfortable and the food is excellent. A special mention for Natasha on reception who always greets with a smile and goes the extra mile to accommodate your requests. Highly recommended.

You won't be disappointed booking this hotel. Our first time staying here for a 2 night stay (normally stay at The Bridge Hotel which is part of Youngs) and it won't be the last. We stayed in room 49, massive and very comfortable. The room was very clean, large comfy bed and tea/coffee facilities. The large shower was amazing and the toiletries provided was a good quality. Had breakfast on both mornings, plenty of range with cooked breakfasts and help yourself to cereals, pastries etc. Plenty of coffee which i was happy about, normally only allowed one cup on stays at other hotels. We got to meet Jack, a very nice pleasant young man who made sure we had everything we needed. We also met the young lady (long dark hair) on reception when we arrived Friday 28th Nov (apologies but didn't get her name) so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for all staff we came into contact with. Hotel is centrally located in the town centre, everything you need is on the doorstep and not too far from the motorway. We will be back to stay here on our next visit to see friends. Thank you

Great stay and overall experience. The overnight stay was perfect, and conveniently located to Longcross, for an early start to drop my daughter the following morning. Lovely room and great breakfast. I needed to hang around the next day, due to my daughter being at Longcross Studios until 4pm. I was able to make use of the 'work from pub' option which was Β£15 for bottomless tea and coffee and a sandwich from the menu (which was amazing). A great deal, but also a really great pub to spend a good few hours in and was able to get a fair bit of work done in a really relaxed and comfortable environment. Just a shame I couldn't have had a few beers and really enjoy the place!! All the staff were very friendly and super helpful too. I was so impressed we are looking at a family break after Christmas, to explore the local area for a couple of days and of course, have a few drinks this time!! Thanks again for a great experience.

we had a one night stay for a family gathering. Our room (48) was spacious, warm and clean. we had booked dinner, bed and breakfast. Our waitress, Serena, was friendly and attentive. we had a lovely 3 course meal and several drinks, within the Β£30 allowance per person. We both slept very well, the bed was a little hard for my liking but it didn't stop me having a good night. The shower was hot and powerful, and a nice choice of bathroom products supplied. We went down to breakfast and was greeted by Serena again. Excellent choice of pastries and continental items, coffee was good and orange juice. Serena took our cooked items - my husband had the full cooked breakfast and I had the eggs Florentine - they were the best I have ever tasted. Everything has hot and delicious - we cannot wait to stay again. Thank you Serena.

It's got great character and the rooms are very warm, welcoming and cosy. (Trendy Even). Food was great and there is also and outside area with a wood burner. It was one of those places you felt lucky to have dropped on. Reminded me that hotels stars dont always give a true picture of where your staying

Cannot fault this place, booked as itβs a dog friendly hotel. The rooms are very well presented and immaculately clean. The food was top notch and loads of good beers and real ales on offer and I have to say, the garden area is epic! All staff were extremely friendly and I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone! Donβt think just book it!!!!!

Stopped off at The Crown for a quick bite to eat. Lovely layout with open fire. Coffee was lovely and hot, not like most places that serve Luke warm coffee. We had sandwich with fries, was plenty for lunch. Staff were friendly and helpful. We will be back next time we are passing.

We arrived early, soaking wet and having our hotel reservation canceled, and they absolutely took care of us! We sat down in their cozy pub with a fire and heaps of character, and tucked in to a phenomenal breakfast. The service has been terrific, the room is just perfect for a family, and everything is just high quality from thebeds, to the sheets to the soaps and tea. We stayed at the Hilton last night and there is no comparison--- this place is a gem! Also DEAD silent.

What a lovely hotel. Absolutely first class so helpful and friendly from the lady behind the bar who gave us bus directions to letting the children feed the fish, to the gentleman first thing in the morning providing me with extra milk for my tea, we only stayed a night but I actually wanted to stay longer. The room was immaculate and every member of staff was so nice and friendly it really felt like a family run business. I really can't raise them enough I will definitely look at going there again. Many thanks to all

Good hotel for dogs and their owners. You don't have to take any beds or bowels all supplied. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Just could do with a little update . Great location for all attractions or even a work meeting. Parking was good .
