Just wanted to say how grateful I am to you and the staff who worked on Saturday to make my party such a great event! Everyone had the best time and I thought everything went completely smoothly. All our guests thought the staff were fab and you all made it feel so easy and stress free. Special thanks to Abi and Kallia The little touches such as the birthday card from the staff and brownies brought up to our room, the room upgrade as well as the Chef in the restaurant coming to suggest a different lunch option for me due to my sulphite allergies. The breakfast was fabulous too, I’m just so impressed with the hotel and staff and couldn’t have asked for a better place to host a special event! Thank you so much to Kallia personally for handing it all, we will definitely be recommending your hotel to friends and family. Sarah Lewin

Stayed last week & just wanted to send a message of thanks to Vanessa & Elena in the restaurant. Both a credit to Hilton. Vanessa’s knowledge on the menu was excellent, she recommended the curry which was delicious. Elena is lovely also & made me feel like nothing was too much, she made me a coffee & finally…somebody who knows how to heat milk properly without burning it! An excellent stay from start to finish, Francesca on reception was very helpful also. You have a great team & I will return next time I’m in the area. Kind Regards, Mr Dalton Towers.

The long corridors, lined with carpets, feel old and worn, but the rooms have been recently refurbished. It's clean and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom features a shower and wall-mounted dispensers for soap, shampoo, and conditioner. There is a desk where you can work. The staff are friendly, especially in the breakfast section, which offers a decent selection of both cold and warm options. I appreciate that Hilton provides full-fat yoghurt, and there are also fresh fruit salad and some vegan substitutes available. The waitresses happily bring you good coffee if you prefer a different type. Especially the lady running the breakfast is very friendly. There are a few good pubs in the vicinity, but you often need to grab an Über as it is not so easy to walk around the Hilton due to the traffic.

Pleasant hotel. Bedrooms quiet and had all you would need for a short stay. Have a lack of drawers for storing undies and small items of clothing. Breakfast is good with lots of choice. Evening meal choices are adequate. Have to pay for parking. Currently there are major roadworks in the area which makes accessing it a bit complicated and advise using Google maps or equivalent. Generally a fair price for a middle of the range hotel.

Room is newly refurbished and sparkling clean! Had a great stay here. The receptionist Kelly was very friendly and helpful however her manager (a guy with Indian accent, couldn’t catch his name) was quite rude and unpleasant to talk with, he was also not treating his colleague with respect.

We had only one night at The Hilton, but we were not disappointed, especially as we arrived to be told that we had been upgraded..the room we stayed in was spacious and recently decorated so nothing to moan about there. We had a meal in the restaurant on the evening we arrived which was very good and of average price. We also had breakfast the next morning which was one of the best buffet style ones We have had great choice of hot and cold food. Definitely will use again.

Stayed here for 5 nights. Hotel in general wasn't bad but housekeeping was absolutely shocking. Had a couple of pounds go missing which was not left out. They'd gone through a side bag and taken it out. That day room service never actually got done either. They came later around 4pm and asked if I needed room service but someone was clearly in as my blinds had been open and a lamp was left on. Not how I left the room. Other days certain things were not replaced and towels were changed very inconsistently. Some days you'd get them all back and other days you'd only get one.

Stayed here for 1 night last minute with my partner and 9 month old little girl. They upgraded us free of charge because there was more room for our travel cot and the staff were so so friendly. The room was wonderful and the overall hotel was nice and clean. The gym is 24hr and brand new! they also have a 24hr sauna and steam which is absolutely amazing! Last but not least we got to checkout slightly later as it takes more time to get the babies stuff together which again was very thoughtful of the staff. Overall we had an amazing experience and we will now be using this hotel as a go to when we our local in the area. Thank you Hilton team for a great experience all round!

It is more than disappointing when you make a reservation a couple of weeks on advance for a family, but then when you arrive to book in, the staff on reception tell you they can only accommodate half your group! The compensation for this "mistake" was complimentary drinks, but again only for half of the group. Until we complained. An annoying aspect of this whole fiasco was seeing guests arrive after us being offered upgrades. We were told the hotel was fully booked. Thankfully the manager was able to find a room that could accommodate us. However, the beds were not comfortable. The pillows went completely flat in a couple of seconds as soon as you put your head down. The rooms were too hot also, I had to turn the thermostat down around 2am. Breakfast was nice. There was a lot of choice.
