My stay at the sk heathrow lodge hotel was as follows . The bed was very comfortable and the location was excellent however there was no wardrobe, shower pressure very weak , no hand-wash in soap dispenser and back of door dirty. It was right beside a beautiful Afghanistan restaurant and food was amazing. I really enjoyed the experience.
There are hotels, and then there’s SK Hotel Heathrow — a property so astonishingly awful it deserves its own entry in the National Trust as a living monument to bad decisions. The adventure began the moment I arrived and was hit by a smell that can only be described as eau de mildew with undertones of despair. The décor struck that delicate balance between “abandoned office block” and “crime scene awaiting investigation.” The receptionist stared through me with the weary look of someone who’s seen too much — perhaps even stayed there themselves. The corridor carpets were a masterpiece of filth: sticky in parts, crunchy in others, and alive in several. It’s the sort of place where you start to lift your bag rather than roll it. When I entered the room, I was greeted by my new flatmates — a thriving colony of ants, clearly long-term residents. The walls were freckled with mysterious stains, the air hung heavy with a damp, mouldy musk, and the blinds looked like they’d recently survived a minor flood. The bed offered the structural integrity of a damp sponge, and the pillow (singular) had the comforting aroma of forgotten laundry. I briefly considered sleeping in the airport instead — or possibly a bin, for the upgrade in hygiene. The bathroom, meanwhile, could be described as “interactive.” The shower alternated between arctic and volcanic, while the tiles appeared to have been held together purely by mildew and optimism. To their credit, the staff didn’t ask how my stay was — perhaps out of kindness, or more likely, self-preservation. In conclusion, SK Hotel Heathrow is less a place to stay and more a cautionary tale for future generations. If you enjoy adventure, mystery, and a touch of biological research, you’ll love it. Otherwise, do yourself a favour and sleep literally anywhere else! One star, for existing. And even that feels generous.
Couldn't shower because the water heater was broken and the pipes made a blaring sound every time the water was on/toilet flushed. Loud noises from the hall and the street all night and the window wouldn't close to shut it out. Black stains that looked like mold on the carpets and generally very unclean. Attendant was very kind but unfortunately the state of the place was horrible
This is a joke of a place . They have no respect for the paying customers who stay at the hotel. The bed was not done , floor stains on carpet , bathroom door could not be opened , shower does not work, windows can not be closed , there is no air-con in the room I can tell 10 more things I observed in the room in my short 2 day business trip . I avoided the place and came home late in the evening as I couldn’t bare to stay here for 2 days . Not sure how people would pay to stay here. It was a last minute booking as I had a meeting unscheduled and had no hotels around at that time. Felt like my human rights have been violated. Worst stay experience I ever had . Thank god it’s finished .
The room was small but clean. The man who checked me in was very polite and friendly. The Internet was nonexistent on my phone. It was a little better on my laptop. As my first stop before traveling around England, it made it very hard to book things with my phones Internet. Not pleased at all. The location got 4 stars because it was only a 7 minute walk, with a suitcase, from the bus stop. I got in too late to know what facilities (restaurants, groceries, etc.) are available in the area.
I arrived at hotel and received good room at good price. The only issue was the shower hot water. Staff was very efficient and friendly especially Jeet (Hotel Manager) also helped me at SK Baylis house hotel . I will definitely visit again.
I calmly sat in the middle of the bed and noticed a cockroach running across the bed of the edge. The room is too hot and couldn’t turn the heater off as there were no climate control. Bathroom is just too small & their 5inch tv is ridiculous. Also there are no double beds only single ones. I started having an allergic reaction on my arm when I lay on the bed, which was caused by the cockroaches. The worst hotel. DO NOT BOOK.
When I arrived here I witnessed a man being chased out of the car park by 2 men 1 of which had a crowbar, I soon learnt this mans van had been broken into and had caught the theives in the act, this was at 7:30pm, I knew this was going to end well The man at reception was very nice and friendly but the rooms are run down, carpet stinking, well worn beds, tiny tv, mould in the bathroom, the rooms didn't get serviced while I was there for the 3 days. It could be so much better with a bit of work.
Cheapest hotel to stay around Heathrow. Car Parking on site. Rooms are reasonable size. I stayed here over the weekend as I was on ground floor. Too noisy in the night time with people walking in and out shouting and non considerate towards other visitors.
It's prices r similar to Best Western Hotel but not in services the toilet door locks r poor, we have to give reminders for cleaning of room, mattress r tidy. Overall it is Poor. The below reviews r might b of their friends n relatives.
