The room was dirty, the bed felt like it was wet. The shower was dirty and not cleaned at all. The room was really cold so we had to sleep in our jackets on. So you get what you pay for. The staff was nice and the location was good
I had a lovely experience at Plaza Hotel. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was basic but had everything that I needed, and the price was really good for the great central location.
We stayed for one night — the room was small but had the basics: a fan, TV, and mini fridge (though it wasn’t cold). The shower had lovely hot water, but the head could use replacing. The bed was comfy and we managed to get a good rest before and after our event. Unfortunately, I woke up covered in bed bug bites on my legs and chest, which was really disappointing and needs urgent attention. The location was great though — close to the station and plenty of bars and restaurants. Overall, decent value for money, but the cleanliness and bed bug problem must be addressed.
As somewhere to put your head down for the night and nothing else, it was okay. I think that the mattress was memory foam but it felt a little lopsided and I kept waking up to adjust my position. There were used water bottles in the fridge. Don't know if they were supplied by the hotel of they didnt check the fridge when someone left. Not horrendous though.
Extremely disappointing. We booked a room for 4 people since April 28th, but upon arrival the hotel gave us a room for only 3 people. This is unacceptable and shows a lack of professionalism, especially considering the reservation was made well in advance. The hotel was unable to honor the booking as confirmed, which caused us serious inconvenience. I would not recommend this property to anyone looking for reliable service.
Rooms could use an update, mold in shower and room itself. Beds were comfortable and staff were really friendly will definitely stay again, but could use an update
Very good location near Shepherd's Bush underground station (red line), grocery stores (Tesco, Lidl), restaurants and shopping centre. The WiFi connection wasn't the best and the walls were thin, so you could hear people talking next door; however, the staff was very friendly and helpful and the check-in/checkout process was done quickly.
I was due to arrive half hour after my 'expected' check in 1 hour slot. Manager advised on phone I would have to wait 40 mins outside in the cold so he could finish his food?? I had a work speech to give and it was absolutely freezing! So I couldn't wait and he won't refund. What kind of a manager / person would knowingly leave a customer out in the freezing cold for 40 mins?? He was also oddly passive aggressive on the phone. Completely shocked and astounded. If this is an indicator of his professionalism, I don't imagine the hotel service after check in is much better. Advise to stay away!
I had a fantastic experience at the Plaza hotel. Amiable staff, especially Jay; he was very friendly, accommodating and caring. The room was clean and had all the required amenities. Recommend this place to anyone!
