   Marie and Rupert were gracious, welcoming hosts. The location of their bed and breakfast was convenient to both the train station and bus, so connecting to the tube was easy. Barnes’ charming downtown with its shops and restaurants was only a short walk. I appreciated the quiet residential area.

   Had a great stay at Barnes B & B for 2 nights over our wedding period, bedroom was lovely and so was the bathroom located just outside the room which was for our own use. Location is great, close to 2 train stations feeding central London very frequently, also a short walk into Barnes Village a nice town on the river Thames with plenty of shops, pubs and places to eat. Marie the owner and host was great, with communications made very easy all through the booking. All in all very satisfied with our stay.

   My husband and I stayed here about a year ago and I realize I never wrote a review! We loved our stay here and the hosts really made it that much better. We felt so welcome and at home. They happily answered questions and gave recommendations. They treated us like friends. We looked forward to our lovely breakfast every morning. We loved the location and Barnes. We also felt it was easily accessible to anything we wanted to do in and around London. Definitely recommend!

   We have just had a delightful stay here. The accommodation is very clean and nicely presented, with a homely feel. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was excellent too and well worth the extra, Marie loves to cook and it shows in her breakfasts! During our stay we ate at Rick Steins restaurant, a little over a mile away, and also toured the the Fullers brewery, just over a mile away via the Hammersmith Bridge. Barnes is a beautiful area, surrounded by the Thames on 3 sides and parklands on the 4th, giving the area a town feel, a welcome change from the hustle and bustle of central London.    Very cosy Bed and Breakfast in a charming neighbourhood. Cute shopping area and restaurants nearby. I stayed in the single room, it was very comfortable and clean. The host are very lovely and helpful. I highly recommend this B&B

   We stayed for two nights with our 5 month old son and had such a lovely time. The house is stunning, clean and very cozy and included a delicious breakfast each morning. Marie and Rupert are great hosts, very welcoming and it feels like staying with friends rather than staying in a hotel/b&b. We would highly recommend staying and we will definitely be back ourselves.

   Our stay at Barnes B & B with our wonderful hosts Marie Therese and Rupert was a truly delightful experience. While Barnes B & B is a period, stylish and immaculate residence in West London it retains an atmosphere of intimacy and homely comfort. A night in our enormous comfy bed with its quality bed linen and its substantial and spotless bathroom was followed by a superb continental breakfast taken in a very relaxing, light, airy kitchen/dining room with enormous open views of its town garden. We especially enjoyed the addition of beautiful fresh flowers and the use of its comfy, stylish, armchairs to read the newspapers and savour Rupert’s superb coffee. Barnes B & B is definitely for the discerning and particularly for those who appreciate attention to detail. We highly recommend it!

   My son and girlfriend stayed 3 nights with Marie recently. They had a great time. We have as a family stayed with Marie before in the past and will stay there again without hesitation the next time we visit London. Ideally situated and very comfortable accommodations. I would recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone.
