One of the most horrible places I have ever stayed in. Complete lack of care for any of the rooms nothing is clean nothing is true in what they say they supply with the rooms. Mould everywhere. We are pretty sure someone smoked a cigarette in our room when we weren’t actually there and they give you the same key for the main door that fits for your room key which is pretty dodgy enough excluding all the other horrible things about this place. Whatever you do DO.NOT.BOOK you’d be better sleeping on a tent in the street than this place

DO NOT BOOK – This Apartment Ruined Our Trip This apartment was an absolute disgrace. I’ve never stayed anywhere so shockingly filthy, neglected, and utterly unfit for human habitation. From the moment we walked in, we were horrified — it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. The floors were sticky, every surface was covered in grime, the crockery was caked with old food, and there wasn’t a single usable pot or pan in sight. The fridge didn’t work, the taps were loose, and the shower was broken. It was beyond disgusting. Worst of all — there was no hot water. We contacted the owner, expecting at least some kind of urgency or care. Instead, we were met with silence and refusal. No one came to help. No apology. No solution. With two small children and no way to wash or clean, we were forced to abandon the place entirely and pay out of pocket to find another apartment last minute. The nightmare didn’t end there. The apartment sits directly above several restaurants, and the constant stench of grilling meat filled the entire flat — it felt like we were living inside a smoky BBQ. It clung to our clothes, our bags, our hair — everything smelled. The street below was unbearably loud, with sirens and shouting echoing throughout the night. It was over 30 degrees outside, so closing the windows wasn’t an option. We got no sleep, just heat, noise, and smoke. As if things couldn’t get worse — the fire alarm system was malfunctioning. It showed an alert constantly as if there was an active fire in the building. There were no beeps, no evacuation, no guidance — just a persistent warning light that made us feel unsafe the entire time. We genuinely feared for our safety. This apartment was a health hazard, an emotional drain, and a complete scam. It should be removed from every booking platform immediately. I wouldn’t let my worst enemy stay here. Avoid at all costs — it will ruin your holiday.

I wouldn't recommend this apartment to my worst enemy. The apartment was an absolute nightmare. Firstly, the door wouldn't even lock properly, forcing us to barricade it with furniture just to feel somewhat secure. The level of filth inside was beyond comprehension - touching anything made you want to immediately wash your hands. Stains covered the walls, and we were greeted by a cigarette butt and beer can on the floor upon arrival. To top it off, there was a gaping hole in the ceiling that let in blinding sunlight at the crack of dawn, making sleep impossible. When we brought up these issues to the owner, they couldn't care less and simply told us to leave the keys inside. Save yourself the disappointment and stay far away from this disgrace of an accommodation.

The biggest issue was poor communication. I had to pick up the keys from a nearby restaurant, and there was no one available to guide me to the flat. Figuring out the exact location of the room in the lobby was a challenge. The Wi-Fi connection was unreliable, mostly turned off, and only available at night. The bathroom lacked basic amenities like a bin and an extractor fan, which caused unpleasant odors to linger. The shower drainage was poor, leading to water accumulation. For a week's stay, only two towels were provided, and there was no information on how to obtain fresh bedding or additional towels. The presence of a TV was negligible due to its extremely small size.A major concern was the cleanliness and maintenance of the property. The skylight was full of fungus, posing a health risk, especially for those with compromised immune systems. Despite repeated requests, getting a receipt for my stay was a hassle. Freezer was full of ice and looks like was not defrosted in years. When paying nearly 500 for 5 night, one exoects to have better service. I regret, i didn't read any previous reviews on google otherwise i would have optes for a better place. Few good reviews are likely from friends and colleagues of the owner. On the positive side, the apartment's location is convenient, especially for Muslim guests, as it's surrounded by plenty of halal food options and a Muslim community. The boiler and heating system worked well, and essentials like a hair dryer and iron were provided and in good condition.Overall, while the location and some amenities were satisfactory, the lack of proper management, poor communication, and maintenance issues significantly affected my stay. It might be worth paying a little extra for a hotel with better facilities and a dedicated reception. Caution is advised for those considering this apartment

Giving one star because I can’t leave less. DONT STAY HERE. We couldn’t get ahold of them in any of the three phones or via e mail. Thankfully our travel agency was able to relocate us. The street is really scary and it looked as if it was a scary movie. I was thankful to know that we were reallocated because it didn’t feel any safe

Do not stay here. We found mice in our unit that had come in from a hole near the radiator. We saw at least four running around under the beds and other furniture. Apart from that, the unit (particularly the bathroom) was dirty, there was old food in the fridge, and the kitchen sink dripped. I usually am hesitant to take negative reviews at face value, but in this case they are completely accurate. Absolutely not worth the low cost and good location.

If I could summarize the reviews of all the frustrated guests who visited this embarrassment called an apartment, I would. I have related to every critical review made on Marble Arch Flat. It is for a fact, true. The worst apartment I have ever been in my entire life. BOOKING.COM, kindly remove this apartment as it does not meet up to the standards you claim to provide. To any guest looking for a place in London, DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF NOT THOROUGHLY READING THE REVIEWS. I have learned the hard way, and it'll be the last time.

This could be summed up in three words. DON'T STAY HERE. And again for clarity: DON'T STAY HERE For just £10 more you can get a comfortable room at the Days Inn just a mile away with breakfast included often. The pictures the owner has of the interior do not look like how they are. The walls are dirty, the shower unclean, the floors a mess and the kitchen is barely in one piece. The TV stinks, doesn't work properly and there is no free WiFi as advertised. This place is a joke. Stay somewhere else and spare yourself the pain.
