   Room smelled of cigarette smoke with base notes of disinfectant. Hard beds. Room absolutely boiling even after turning the radiator off. Street light right outside. Couldnt make the room dark even after pulling the blinds. Stay some where else.

   Absolutely horrendous, shower incapable of giving more than 3 seconds of hot water at a time before scolding you or choose an ice cold shower. The bed was rock solid with soft pillows, dirty bathroom with hairs in shower. Extremely loud guests all evening and morning. Absolute waste of money I cannot recommend this place to anyone! Your better off staying in a homeless hostel it will have better beds and a better shower facility. Extremely disappointed as its my first and last time I will be visiting/staying here

   Good value for money. The room had everything needed in a quiet location, although quite central. Not much interaction with the staff, but very friendly on arrival. Didn't stay in the town, main goal was to reach Stansted airport which took 45 min.

   Really nice for a good price. Clean and comfortable. Lovely trays with cereal, water, Ribena and milk and a little fridge. Even a little outdoor space to enjoy a morning cuppa in.

   The front desk attendant at the bar is very friendly and welcoming. However, there’s no air conditioning, so it’s best to avoid staying during very warm weather. The rooms have small fans, but they don’t provide much relief. The shower water temperature is inconsistent, fluctuating between hot and cold. Aside from these issues, it’s a decent place for a short stay.

   This location converted in hotel from pub. Ground floor is pub. There is no person available for room service. Rooms are not cleaned on regular basis. Hotel is on busy road , hence u will hear noise whole day and night,any one might be will not get peace slip.

   All photographs you see are true to what you will get. We’ve just spent two nights here (a party of six) and we all agree our rooms were immaculate and spotlessly clean. The team here were extremely welcoming, all prices great, and we've all said we’d certainly book in here again! A really pleasant area too!

   Rooms where really nice service it looks like a recently renovated if not it is well maintained since its Renovation. My room was of a decent size comfortably bed I did find that the toilet was placed a bit awkwardly in relation to the sink but would not be so much of a issue to someone shorter than 5"10. Breakfast and refreshments where supplied as a small box's of cereal and some uht milk and 2 caprisun I do not enjoy cold milk so did not partake in the cereal. I would definitely recommend family stay there and if I need a hotel stay there again

   Excellent pub and hotel, rooms were spotless and Emma, Harry and the lovely gent who carried our cases up the stairs were amazing! Thank you for a wonderful stay, shall definitely be coming again in the future!
