There were 8 of us and put us into a little private room. At first I thought just normal pub lunch but food was excellent and fast service
Came here with the family after a quick search online, my nephew choose this pub. First of all free parking ❤️ bonus!! When we entered we could see staff was busy, but didn't have to wait long before we was given a private *room* Staff very attentive We placed our order and waited None of us has been before and didn't have high expectations. Well how wrong were all of us Empty plates all round!!! The food was great, the quality of the steak and how we asked for was very good. It wasn't tough and cooked perfectly. I ordered the chicken smothered poster (?) Absolutely love the crispy thin bacon rashers on the chicken tender... Mixed grill went down well with the family as well as many other food Great value as well as great service. We ordered a main each starters to share and a drink each... 8 Adults under £140 Highly recommend and would come back when in the area Thank you
Thought I would treat myself to a nice mixed grill the place seemed not so busy with seating in n out on offer very spacious plus very clean with two staff serving on doing the drinks also bringing the food out both very polite mannered staff . I went for a mixed grill with an upgrade which definitely made eyes look bigger than my belly the service was very good staff very helpful with not long to wait . Has the food came out it was hot also very tasty just how a mixed grill should be no complaints from me has it really did fill me up but this place sat on the basin some really nice views just away from the town centre hustle n bustle but I do like the place maybe pricey 1 meal for £25 but value for money plus location I think it’s worth paying I know you can get cheaper but not for the nice location which I think is key .
The food was amazing and the staff are friendly and polite. So far I have been twice in one week. There is also a card called Tasty Rewards which i would highly recommend getting from inside the pub as u collect 5 points for every 1 pound u spend. There are also some good advantages to it and it tells you on the attached leaflet to the card. Will be back again.
Generally Table Table restaurants are all very similar and you know what to expect, they don't offer particularly good value for money or generous portions and this one is no exception to the rule. I visited this restaurant for an evening meal as I was staying at the Premier Inn, unfortunately this was a mistake, as after waiting nearly an hour to be served and only then after asking did I manage to put my order in for food and a drink. The food was edible, but that is all that can be said, I had eaten here earlier in the week and had the same experience. The waiting staff don't seem to have a system for taking orders,only for seating guests, so I observed other guests in a similar situation as me. I would not recommend taking the "meal deal" option as there are alternative place to eat close by, which I'm sure would be tasty and better value for money. In comparison the breakfast offered in the same restaurant is a vastly different experience, as the food is flavoursome and quick to arrive, and the waiting staff are friendly, helpful and make you feel welcome.
Excellent few hours of lunchtime menu options available for the winter months, nice and warm in winter and next to the Canal and outside seating available in the summer. Good lunch menu choices and drinks options to have at various times of day. Looking forward to meeting with friends here again later on in the season.

The staff you can’t fault at all. Brilliant attentive kind and welcoming. The food however was horrendous. How the chef can think it’s acceptable to send it out it beyond me. The bill was over £50 and I would rather of had a McDonald’s. Even my son at 10 month who eats everything barely touched it.
Table booked for 12.15 took 20 mins before we got offered a drink. Then another family came in and got to order straight away and we hadn't even been asked if we were ready. The food was half decent but we waited an hour between started and main course and after been in there for 2 and a half hour we hadn't even been offered a sweet menu and if we had wanted one we would not have had time as the free car parking was only for 3 hours. So we went to pay and as nurses had blue light cards but were told we couldn't use them. Won't be going back not great and service was shocking.
Tasty roast dinner got all this food for under £25. Great for value of money . There was only 1 person taking orders which ment it took at least 15mins before I got my order taken in the queue. But overall very satisfied by the quality of food.
