   We just spent two weekends at Althorp Lodge, a private and quiet cottage in the back of a lovely garden. It's well equipped and peaceful. The location is excellent - close to good restaurants, trains, buses, and the Northern tube line. Wandsworth Common, a beautiful park, is only 100m away and the excellent Althorp pub even closer. Our host was easy to contact and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended!

   A hidden gem in a great location. I couldn’t have asked for more while up in London working. The accommodation was incredibly comfortable and peaceful and the owners were on hand if needed but otherwise left you to it. They were very helpful when the internet went down (not their fault! There were works being done in the area) and even removed a rather large spider! Fresh pain au chocolat every day and Nespress coffee machine too. A really brilliant find and I’ll come again as well as recommend to my friends.

   A great discovery in an area of town that could be very useful, certainly it's relatively undiscovered by tourists. Vicky runs a lovely little B&B; the accommodation is in a self-contained building at the end of the garden, and is completely private. The quality of the bedding, teas and coffees, and the food served at breakfast was top-notch - maybe a little thing, but an important part of how the accommodation feels. Not quite perfect - we didn't find any hanging space (although since we were only there for one night, that wasn't a major problem), and the only area where the quality didn't quite match was that the pillows could have been softer. But Althorp Lodge was a great find, and if we need to be back in the area, we'll certainly be staying again. Excellent, highly recommended.
