Close to Victoria train and bus station. Hotel is old building so expect wonky floors and the lift is a half floor out so you'll need to carry your luggage a bit. Loads of character. Awesome breakfast and the staff are amazing.
Overall great stay! Review below: Location - even better than expected it says 12 minutes from Victoria it took us max 8 minutes to walk there. Room - very clean, cleanest room I’ve stayed in for a long time, everything worked in the room, no wear and tear. Customer service - great, very accommodating. Price - for London, pricing was excellent when you factor in the breakfast which was superb - clean, tasty and they speed it up for us as we had a train to catch. Would recommend anyone who wants to be close to Victoria station but still feel like you are out of the way off too much noise and have a comfortable, friendly hotel with great breakfast.
5 minute walk from Victoria Station. It is in a quiet residential area with a lovely hot breakfast daily. The room price is high for a very small room BUT the breakfast is high quality and adds so much value. Bathrooms are sparkling clean. There is staff available to get ice or linen. The restaurant is only open for the breakfast but does offer alcoholic drinks at night. Beds were very comfortable but there is literally very little space to walk or stand in the room. The proprietor is independent and should be supported for not joining a hotel chain. I recommend The Windermere
Wonderful Stay in a Charming Hotel The hotel was clean, cozy, and very quaint. Its location was perfect—within walking distance to Buckingham Palace and surrounded by plenty of restaurants and entertainment options. The owner, Nick, was exceptionally friendly, accommodating, and attentive. The entire hotel staff made our stay incredibly pleasant and comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel to couples or anyone looking for a quiet, safe, and centrally located place to stay. It’s also conveniently close to several train and bus stations. Thank you, Nick and the team, for a wonderful experience!
The rooms were clean and the staff were really, very friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated about 10 minutes from Victoria Station, which was very convenient. There are a couple of really nice restaurants within an easy walk one in particular as a Turkish restaurant that was excellent. And there’s a really nice coffee shop serving light meals just around the corner. A a delicious and substantial breakfast was included in the price of the room.
Cannot fault this hotel. Location close to Victoria and walking distance for quite a few attractions. Breakfast brilliant. Staff couldn't be more helpful.
Immaculately clean and comfortable small hotel with an excellent breakfast. Staff and owners are wonderful. Quiet area. 11 minutes walk from Victoria tube and station depending on how quickly you walk. I am a little slow. Area good for dining and transport.

Theatre weekend. Decor in the hotel is lovely, the rooms very nicely decorated and clean. Our bathroom was a little on the small size but perfectly usable. The owners were very welcoming and friendly, as we're the receptionists. Numerous awards in display in reception, the last being won in 2021. We can see why. Perfect location for lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance. We'd stay again without hesitation and highly recommend.
This is a real little gem. Such a lovely place. The staff were friendly and courteous and made us feel very welcome. Our room was very comfortable and spacious with all the essentials, aircon included. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful and the hotels location is ideal and fairly central. I've no problem recommending this hotel.
