We stayed here as our friend used to live in Waterloo and we are familiar with the area. The room was big enough for two adults and 1 child but I think the carpet had been cleaned and left a strange musty smell in the room, we opened the window and had to buy febreze as it was quite overpowering. Breakfast was good with a good selection and even some gluten free options Service was good just the smell in the room.

Couldn't fault this travel lodge! We booked here last minute, we were due to stay at another travel lodge but there was a power issue. Staff were very efficient. Rooms were comfy and clean. Very impressed with the facilities on site, a huge seating area with cafe and 24/7 bar! Would definitely come back here.

Our bed was very comfy and we slept well. Breakfast was okay, a bit average for the £12.50 price and not all of it seemed completely fresh considering it was only 7am. Rooms were mostly clean, but quite a few signs of wear/damage especially in the bathroom: taps and shower plug holes not cleaned too well and damaged in parts. Our door also kept locking us out due to an error with the key card system,so this caused several trips up and down from the top floor... Overall, we would definitely stay here again. It's a great location and we slept well. But a major tidy up/update needed in some areas

Don't under estimate this gem. This was a real find, moderatly priced, well placed, excelle t friendly staff. I was part of the rememberance parade and stayed in this lovely accessable part of London. The staff trip over themselves to make your stay second to NONE. A special shout out to a few people, firstly Jennifer who was super bubbly and friendly and obviously highly thought of by her colleagues. She overheard us say we fancied a choccy fix after we were leaving the bar. She appeared at reception and slipped us a few kit kats such an awesome gesture by a wonderful gorgeous lady. A young man called Ellis on reception was a pleasure to chat to and he reccommended lots to see and do he assisted with all our requirements very proffessionally and quickly. He was eloquent and very interesting and a great example to local lads. His mum brought up a fine young man. Kieran jumped to our rescue promptly when i blew the ele tric in the room trying to iron my uniform for the parade. We have had an awesome stay thankyou Travelodge for employing such great people we stay in lots of hotels and are part time Expedia hosts ourselves so understand how much hard work it can be to be this good. Well done again enjoy your little gifts Ian and Caz

Its a good place for you budget stay, but my reason for taking out the star is 1. Its not that cheap, it might be cheaper than others but there is almost none amenities in the room, and heating was also not something which was there. 2. There is constant water/flush sound coming from the walls, no leakage but the walls are thin or something which I don't know, and the sound was a big disturbance and at last 3. The view was terrible, I can't leave the curtains open even if its a sunny day or for whatsoever reason because someone back parking is visible and people can actually see inside. Breakfast was amazing and fresh and if you are going to London and tight on budget or looking for some good place to sleep then its a go.

Great Hotel, the location is fantastic, reasonable price and the staff are so friendly and helpful, we stayed over the weekend for 2 nights and would definitely return. Carpets in the room could do with a freshen up or replacing because of stains but didn’t let that effect our stay. The staff who work there really deserve some credit!

This review is relative to the price for the stay. The staff were very good! The room was good for the pricing. The location is probably unbeatable for the price. You’re close to everything and if you need to get somewhere, the Waterloo station is right there. Tesco and Sainsbury is a 4 min walk and they’re open 24 hrs so you can get what you need. So 1) location is great! 2) staff are great! 3) room is good! The place is a bit older. The hallway to our room had a smell but the room itself did not! Water is hot, toilets worked. There’s a diner within the hotel that’s reasonably priced. Plus a lot of restaurants walking distance. So there.

Remember to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a stay. This website will compare hundreds of booking web sites and typically will have prices much cheaper than others! Thank me later! This place is one of the best in the area. I have been coming here for a long time. If you choose this place you definitely will love it I'm sure! Excellent location, we stayed here for two nights for two shows. Great location for Wicked only a short tube away and Cinderella in Convent Garden was also a convenient tube away. Close to tube station. Such a lovely room; very clean modern and amazing view. Staff were very friendly epically Hayden on the Bar. Very good hotel bar. Thankyou for a fantastic stay; we shall definitely stay again.

Hotel is in a good location. If like us you’re unfortunate enough to stay near the entrance to the floor, do not expect to sleep. Being an old building, there’s no sound proofing between floors, and big gaps under the doors. Cleanliness was also shocking, a big clump of hair was left in our shower. Definitely would not recommend!

The front of house staff here are amazing! They did all that they could to fix the issues in my room and keep me up to date with progress. However, the list of issues with the room was long: broken air conditioning, lamp and soap dispenser, lack of ironing board, stained carpets and overall cleanliness a little lacking. If only the rooms were as polished as the reception and bar team I would consider staying here again.
