   One of the worst hotels I have stayed in and I have stayed in a few, booked a single room and thought it was still a bit expensive until I got there and after spending the night there really feel over charged. Young lady who checked me in was lovely, wish I could say the same about the room. It was tired and pretty worn. It didn't smell very nice and although clean didn't feel clean. The bathroom was so small I could barely turn around in it. The bed was hard and uncomfortable and the worst thing was no hairdryer which I didn't realise until too late. Great location for St Pancras but really needs an upgrade!!

   Cheap and cheerful from the outside. Stayed here for a night at the weekend, paid for early check in, it wasn’t looking great getting off the lift, hallway carpets looked grubby with a musty damp smell in the air, and dust you could write your name in on the woodwork. First room we were given a key for had not been changed from the last guests checking out. 2nd room different floor, the hallways were in the same sorry unwelcoming state. Room & bathroom seemed clean but with lack of attention to vacuuming. Bed was comfortable enough for the 1 night, sheets and towels were clean. Had paid for a 12 late check out, but got a knock at 9:45 for cleaning, asking what time we were going. My fault, should have left the do not disturb out. Didn’t use the onsite bar or restaurant. Convenient location to King’s Cross a 5-10minutes walk away Check in check out process was ok

   I'm not usually picky but this hotel stay was an awful experience - the worst in maybe 20 years. And it wasn't even especially cheap. - Walking to the hotel from Kings Cross, there were SO many people clearly on drugs, crawling on the pavement, shouting. So many people. Not good when you're a lone woman at night. - The room is so shabby and so dated. Questionable shower curtain. No hairdryer. No charging socket near the bed (to charge my phone which has my alarm on it). - REALLY noisy, overlooking a busy road. Even with the windows closed, it's so noisy ALL night. I think there are some sort of vents in the windows so the sound comes straight through. - NO WIFI!!!! In 2025! Having to pay for wifi at a b&b is like having to pay for water. They say you get 30 free minutes per day but you don't. You get 30 free minutes per 24 hours. So, if you arrive at 5pm and use your free minutes, you can't then use free minutes the following morning, because your free minutes reset after 24 hours, not the next day. This is insane in 2025. - The room is SO hot. - Walls and doors are so thin - conversations in the corridors will wake you up. - Breakfast is overcrowded, people squished together, and the most basic of food that doesn't taste of anything. I usually stay at the Hub by Premier Inn in Marylebone and it's spotless and cheaper with the best croissants - I wish I hadn't decided to try something different. Definitely would not recommend this travellodge. I'll be going back to (cheaper, nicer, safer-feeling) premier inn! Having said this, the lady at the check in desk (the lady who talks fast!) was an absolute delight and gave me such a warm welcome. The star in this review is for her.

   I am usually for one for researching hotels in detail and looking at reviews, but after all train services were suspended on Sunday evening from Euston we had no choice but to grab a hotel. Rooms seemed to be selling out as I clicked to book, so we quickly grabbed this room as Travelodge and PI are generally our go-tos for being consistently decent - and it was only £84 including breakfast which was way lower than the alternatives I could see at the time. This Travelodge is definitely not like one we've stayed in before. The pictures on the website are not photos of the rooms here! The carpet was filthy and damp, the windows probably originals from goodness knows when, the bathroom the smallest I've ever seen and the headboard and furniture were super old and tatty. However as an emergency bed for the night, the beds were clean and so me and my son were OK staying there. No hairdryer but borrowed one without issue. Breakfast was fine, probably what I expected from a Travelodge. Staff was super nice, smiley and friendly. Would I choose to stay there if I was researching a hotel to stay at in London? Absolutely not, especially after reading reviews, but would I call it a hotel from hell where staying on a train station floor would have been nicer? No to that too!

   I had a really good stay here. The hotel is quite basic, but in the best way – clean, comfortable, and with everything you really need. The staff were lovely, very friendly and welcoming, which added to the great atmosphere. The reception area is nicely decorated and feels inviting. Breakfast was okay – it could use a bit more variety, but the pancakes were definitely a highlight. The only downside was that the rooms get quite warm. A fan is provided, but it didn’t make much difference. It was still manageable during my stay, though I imagine it might be uncomfortable in hotter weather. Overall, a pleasant and comfortable place to stay with great service and a welcoming vibe.

   Make sure to use HotelTully.ᴄᴏm when booking a stay. This web site will compare countless booking websites and normally will have prices much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This hotel is one of the most well known in this area. I have been coming here for a very long time. If you decide to stay here you will love it I'm sure! This hotel has a great location, close to Kings Cross. I have stayed here many times now, when I come to London for a few days and always find it warm, clean and comfortable. I especially like the fact that the bathrooms have a bath, as well as a shower, which is a bonus in a hotel these days. Reception staff are always helpful and the breakfast is good. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

   I have to say the staff were really very good. Including when getting abused by a very drunken and aggressive woman. The location is fine, part of the reason I picked it. The room let's it down though, it was fairly low price but I would still expect better especially from a chain. Bathroom had a dirty feel I don't think it was, it was just very poorly maintained. The carpet was threadbare and looked dirty. Layout is also odd, the switch for the lamp was unusable whilst lying in bed!

   Quaint, clean room at a reasonable price and got a decent two nights sleep. Staff were very friendly. Booked a late checkout but after midday the card deactivated (they said it was normal procedure), so I went to reception to get it fixed, so something to be mindful of if you book a late checkout. Apart from that, it did the job and I had nothing really to complain about.

   Honestly I think the reviews here are a little unfair. Is this a luxury hotel? No, of course not. If they were charging hundreds per night I would certainly give it one star. But for the price which is often around 30-50 per night, to stay this centrally in London, it's 4 or 5 stars in my opinion. I live nearby and have recommended this to friends looking for a cheap stay before. The negatives: this specific street can sometimes be dodgy, however it's surrounded by a very nice area. And the street is still safe, it's not like this is an alleyway, so this is still fine in my opinion. I've also seen one time a friend stayed here and the carpet was a bit grubby and gross. So for those reasons I've deducted 1 star. But otherwise every room I've seen has been fine, dated but clean, and staff are all very helpful and polite. So for the price I will certainly keep recommending this to people. I would not say that it's family-friendly or good for working though. Lots of loud stag and hen do type groups seem to book here so it's more of a place to sleep but not hang out.

   I have just returned from one night stay at this hotel. Stupidly I did not read the reviews before I booked. But I was higher stayed in many travel lodges across the country I didn’t think there would be an issue. We booked a double room for my self my partner and we have a young child. They did upgrade us to a family room at no extra charge when we got to the hotel and the staff did seem very accommodating and friendly. There is parking on site with plenty of spaces and it is very reasonably priced. But the downside is far outweighed the good. The hotel is very rundown and in need of repair. Walking through the corridors all the doors and woodwork is scratched and marked and the carpets are worn and threadbare so it doesn’t give a very inviting impression of what your room is going to be like. The rooms were very basic that is not a problem you get what you pay for however the rooms were dirty and scruffy, carpets were worn stained and marked, the bathroom was tiny and still has a shower curtain which is extremely unhygienic. The mirrors in class were all marked and dirty, there are two windows in our room both side of use of brick walls. The location isn’t even that great to be fair to central London as it’s right on a one-way system, plenty of better places to stay closer to the centre
