the hotel is very old with a pungent smell, not very restful conditions

Although the space the hotel is occupied in is very small land space. However space utilities are excellent internally the Architectural organization is unique in that the two circulation stair halls for vertical circulation are centrally located along the sewage and clean water supply through the use of ducts system. The room now has direct contacts to external walls of the building for natura lighting and thermal control.

I spent our honeymoon in London, and we stayed in this hotel. That was in 2008. I love this hotel with all its simple details. I hope to go there again.

Very nice hotel! Welcoming & friendly reception with everything that you expect a good hotel to have. Will definitely come again! Absolutely loved it. Location is also very convenient since there’s lots of food shoos nearby and Finsbury Park Rail station is also quite close!

Not the Ritz but a great value little hotel with tube and bus stops 50m away. Double and single beds in all the rooms I have stayed in with en suite and a full sized fridge. Staff friendly and obliging. Beds made daily. No breakfast at present though as there was pre-covid but only £50 a night or £75 for 2 in a room

I have stayed here twice.. I need to mention that staffs are really nice and friendly. The rooms are nice but feels old. It is cheap when compared to other hotels in London. Opposite to the hotel is the beautiful Finsbury park. You may find it a bit noisy because of the busy road but only for those rooms which are at the front side of the hotel. Overall I liked it and would recommend to others.

Hotel location was excellent and suit my purpose. Cleaning of the hotel and room was very superb. Internet very good. The breakfast was very good and the staff are welcoming and friendly. Two single bed were joined together to make up a double bed and this was inconviniencing. The Noises from other guest was too much and the wood/board used to partition the room could not stop the voices from other rooms. Generally it was good value for the money so would recommend it .

This is a budget hotel with basic facilities. The carpets and decor could be cleaner but the bed linen and towels are clean. A simple continental breakfast is available with the option of cooked eggs and baked beans. You get what you pay for, so if you're watching your money, its a good choice. £55 pp per night (summer 2017). The staff are friendly and the front desk is manned 24hr. The hotel name and layout suggest it may have been a student hall of residence.
