   I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and to escalate my complaint regarding my recent, utterly disastrous experience with StayInn City Aldgate Apartments. My booking, intended for a birthday celebration, turned into a complete nightmare due to hidden terms and blatant misrepresentation. Upon arrival, I was denied access to the property. I was informed of undisclosed restrictions: a 25-year-old age requirement and a £500 security deposit. These crucial details were not clearly presented during the booking process, leaving me completely blindsided and stranded on my birthday. The situation was compounded by the conflicting information I received from customer service. Initially, I was assured a refund "would not be a problem," only to have that promise subsequently retracted. This blatant dishonesty and complete lack of transparency are unacceptable. To be left stranded on my birthday, after being assured I would recieve my initial payment back, is simply appalling. This experience has not only wasted my valuable time and money but also ruined a significant personal occasion. I am incredibly frustrated by the lack of integrity displayed by StayInn City Aldgate. I will not rest until I receive a full refund for this booking. This is a matter of principle, and I cannot and will not let this egregious mistreatment go unaddressed. I implore anyone considering booking with StayInn City Aldgate: DO NOT BOOK. You will likely encounter hidden terms, dishonest customer service, and a complete disregard for customer satisfaction.

   Fraud alert. Never give them your card details and photo id once you will leave the apartment they will deduct money from your card without your consent. I gave them my card details which they told me this is for security reason after checking out they started deducting money from my account. They deducted money thrice after that I blocked my card. When I blocked my card they tried to take the money again. I was never expecting this type of scam.

   Apple Apartments/StayInn Apartments/City Aldgate Apartments... So many names? Came to know that visitors not allowed only after booking. Wanted to change the check in date, the agents didn’t seem interested to help in this regard. Had to cancel the booking on my cost, the whole booking money went down the drain. Ripping off money.

   PLEASE READ!!!!! I recently stayed here and the staff were horrible. They were rude and disrespectful. Kept me waiting 30+ mins after arriving when they told me to get there for. Then during our stay we went out for the night. My partner left her Tiffany bracelet in her bag in the room so she doesn’t lose it on our night out as we went clubbing with a couple friends. When we got back she checked it and it was gone with some cash as well. Never staying again. They even had the audacity to block me and my partners number after we tried to report it and complain.

   Extremely Disappointed – Hidden Terms and Terrible Experience I had a terrible experience with City Aldgate Apartments. When I arrived, I was unable to access the property due to hidden terms that were not clearly disclosed during the booking process. Specifically, you have to be 25 years old to check in, and they require a £500 deposit—neither of which was made clear when I booked. After contacting customer service, I was initially told that a refund "would not be a problem," but my request was later denied. This level of dishonesty and lack of transparency is unacceptable. I wasted my time and money on a booking I couldn’t even use. I strongly advise others to be very cautious when booking with this property. I won’t rest until I get my money back, as this is something I simply cannot let go.

   I booked the apartment for 2 nights, months in advance. A week before the booking, I was asked to supply passports of all guests. I was staying two nights, and my friend (who is 22) was supposed to arrive on the 2nd night. The owners received the passports and emailed me and told me no further information is required and they will be in touch. When my plane landed in London I received an email saying I have broken policy and will not receive a refund. I asked for clarification and they replied that all guests must be over 25. I said there was nothing in the description that mentioned this and to please inform me where it said this. I received no explanation. I then asked if I could stay there alone and my friend (who was supposed to arrive the following day) can find somewhere else to stay. They did not reply. I tried to phone the number listed and it did not work. I then received a message from the website I booked the apartment through, who said they had been informed that I was a no show, and because of their no-show policy, I would not receive a refund. I then explained that I had every intention of showing up, but was told not to. Never got my money back. Very upsetting.

   Really close to Shadwell dlr and great links to Bank tube station so a great location to get about the city. Apartment was clean and well furnished. There was a lack of cutlery and crockery but the beds were very comfortable. Very easy access to the apartment and felt safe and secure. There were some finishing touches that could have made it better such as lamp shades and the taps spilled water on the floor if you turn the taps on full The neighbourhood is busy and there are lots of nice food places nearby and plenty of convenience shops immediately close to the apartment. The 10am check out is a bit of a shame but not the end of the world. Would be nicer to have a bit more time. The hosts are responsive and probably best described as direct. Overall a good stay for a London getaway weekend Would definitely book again

   DO NOT EVER STAY IN THIS ACCOMMODATION !!! I have booked this property and paid for the 1 day stay and then got refused to check in on the day of the actual stay They treated us very badly. We went from Manchester to London and there was no place for us to stay. Do you understand what happened to us? We went to apartment around 2:30 then they said we can’t check in at 2:30 we have to come at 3 then we went at 3 they told us we can't enter the apartment because I'm under twenty five. When I filled the form for apartment I didn't see anywhere that I have to be over 25 they gave me everything confirmation number pin number Since they gave us the confirmation email pin number why they didn't let us in it's a big crime we never expected it. When I was nineteen I booked an international hotel for myself and I never had any problem with them. They never told us that you have to be twenty-five. So why are we being treated like this here? When we called them they didn't want to talk to us. We are very proud of what they have done to us

   SCAM ! SCAM ! SCAM ! Never book this apartment! It is a SCAM! They ask you for a £750 deposit but don't send you any link. I have sent thousands of emails and calls, no one answers me. Around 11pm on the day you were supposed to be in the apartment, they reply: saying that only UK credit cards are accepted. If you have a UK card you lose one day. If you don't have a UK card they offer you a cancellation, they lie and say it's refundable. IT IS NOT REFUNDABLE ! So I lost 650£ !

   DO NOT EVER STAY IN THIS ACCOMMODATION !!! I have booked this property and paid for the 4 day stay and then got refused to check in on the day of the actual stay. Which caused me and my 2 foreign mates to basically be out on the streets of an area we were completely unaware of. After calling customer service a few times to figure it out what was going on. I was getting just put on hold until I got screamed and threatened that I’ll be simply blocked. Which did happen ! Now nearly 2 months and I still can’t get my refund for the property I paid for and didn’t get to stay in…. ONCE AGAIN DO NOT EVER BOOK ACCOMMODATIONS WITH THESE SCAMMERS !!!
