The cost-benefit ratio is worthwhile. Close to the station. The room was clean, and that's what matters. If you want luxury, this isn't the hotel. Polite and kind staff, the hotel delivered what was needed: comfortable room, clean bed, hot shower. Note: It's an immigrant neighborhood; they are workers and always rushing around. The only negative point is having to pay for Wi-Fi, or you only have 30 minutes per day. Greetings from Brazil

Room and bathroom were clean. Room was quite spacious. The bed was comfortable. Hotel was clean, no marks on carpets or any bad smells. The location is great, with a secure paid parking in the next door multi-storey parking.

I stay at Travelodge Ilford weekly for work and consistently receive excellent service. The staff and management are always friendly, helpful, and approachable, which makes a big difference when staying away from home regularly. On several occasions my work plans have changed at short notice, meaning my stay was split into three separate bookings. The team went out of their way to accommodate me in the same room for the full week, which I really appreciated. That level of care and flexibility makes my working weeks much easier and more comfortable. Thank you to the whole team for your continued support and professionalism.

Quite reasonable and very good rooms. Bathroom are good size and clean. Can order iron and board on request. Staff are very nice as they accommodated early check-in request as well as additional person in our room. Very easy to get to Ilford via super efficient London public transport. I'd highly recommend this hotel for clean, easy affordable stay.

I am really disappointed to see thar some reviews people have said this is a 2 star hotel. There are crazy ilford travelodge is the best hotel in east london for me its 5 star. The service we get every time is the best. We always come to this hotel and without a blink we get everything' we asks for . The location is the best 5 mins away from the station shops near by. Rooms are always clean. And the staff especially these guys are what hotels are made off. Starting with lira running the place with a special mention to sabrina, tammy, emannuela, amit, shadab, adriano, alina, ashif. Giffty. Thank You so much and more if i cant remember all the names but thank you all for you guys who make this travelling enjoyable. You all have made this the best hotel in east london. Nasir mirza

Would just like to say what a great experience we had with the Travel Lodge. A massive shout out to Sandrine and Sabina for the helpfulness we received from them from the moment we turned up and from when we left helping with the local transport. Will absolutely be booking up again at this hotel. A five stars from me and the family

More of a hostel - staff stealing food from government funded meals for childrenManager very unprofessional and spiteful (Moh) who also barged into room whilst undressed with 3 children and demanded I left after I complained. This hotel is a rundown hostel, mostly funded by the council. Staff are disgusting and rude would never stay again, even if paid. Mould, stains on beds, no change of sheets after 1 month. Absolutely filthy!

Horrible hotel! First time staying at a travelodge and never again. Hotel room was spacious enough but the bedsheets and covers had stains on them. Bathroom was semi clean. In de hall ways you would find water leaking from the ceilings. This hotel has 2 elevators which one of them was out of order on my arrival day and the second elevator was also not working after 3 days i arrived. Having my family with me that couldn't walk stairs this was as you can imagine a bad experience. Luckily they could move us downstairs and we could use the parkinglot elevator thats attached to the hotel to get in and out of the hotel. The hotel staff my gosh were so horrible and rude. I would recommend travelodge either to hire decent staff or some sort training for the staff on how to be friendly towards customers. Only the indian woman and the one of the manger im guessing indian aswell were nice and customer friendly. Area is pretty good! 2 minutes walking distance and you will find alot of shops, supermarket, bus stops, restaurants, shopping mall, parking lot and a cinema attached to the hotel.

Staff are very unprofessional and rude. Had the Cleaning staff leave all the equipment in the room and beds out of their places. Asked for a change of bed sheets in which they said they will do it, never did at the end had to change them ourselves. Never replaced dirty cups. And receptionist staff are uncooperative. Also when asking a query about hotel services staff says that it is not their job! At one point had the vending machine eat our money and when asking if the machine is out of order, staff said it is not their problem!

Had a pleasant time staying here. Rooms were clean. Staff were very friendly, particularly Sabina, which made a huge difference to the experience. The car park is on the ninth floor so a bit of a nuisance to drive the car up and down 9 floors but the location was very good so if using public transport this won't be an issue
