Super king-size comfortable bed, I liked the two armchairs in the room, the fridge and microwave, main road with all the shops less than a 5 minute walk from the hotel

I slept here for a few nights. It’s the most horrible hotel I’ve ever seen. The conditions are worse than bad. A disaster.

At a glance it seems fine with a quick check in but when u come back to stay for the night and pull back sheets to two moths and a dead spider… The staff member was lovely giving lots of tips and helping me to feel welcome. Two working fans were also provided for the heatwave luckily. HOWEVER, the smell was only bearable if I slept in the bathroom. The socket for electricals in the bathroom was fully charred and covered around the edges with duct tape. Furniture (bedside cabinet) was fairly damaged as well. I didn’t even want to try the shower after a hot day. Left to stay somewhere else.

Unfortunately, this hotel fell well short of expectations. The online photos appear significantly outdated and don't reflect the current condition of the property. Upon arrival, I was immediately struck by the unpleasant odour throughout the building, possibly sewage-related or similar, which persisted during my stay. The room's cleanliness was substandard across the board. Both the microwave and refrigerator were visibly dirty and needed thorough cleaning. The bathroom conditions were particularly concerning and not worth detailing further. The one bright spot of this experience was the staff member who appeared to be the attendant or owner. His cheerful demeanour and pleasant attitude were genuinely appreciated and provided the only positive aspect of my visit. It's unfortunate that the property itself couldn't match his level of service. While the staff member was excellent, the overall condition of the hotel makes it impossible to recommend.

The room was clean and decent size. basic facilities were provided (mini fridge, kettle, microwave) and refreshments too. But perhaps one or two plates could have also been given to heat the food in the microwave. I had brought some food from the take away and couldn’t heat it as there were no plates. Also, I noticed some flies in the room. Maybe an insect’s treatment is needed for them but otherwise I had a comfortable stay. The receptionist was also very kind and helpful. He told us about the nearby shops and restaurants too so that we have a good stay in ilford.

Fab little independent hotel, I needed a room for one night as I had a day in Ilford working. After a long journey, being greeted as if I was a frequent visitor, an old friend with nothing too much trouble is what hospitality is all about for me. A simple comfortable and clean room was what the website offered and that's what I got. As a budget hotel, you won't get much better value for money. I'll be booking again when ever I'm visiting Ilford.

Clean and tidy rooms. Great service by the owner/manager. He's very nice and helpful. Comfortable beds (although the extra bed in the family room wasn't great). Bigger room had a fridge, microwave and kettle which is very useful. Good location with lots of food places nearby.

Impeccably clean room, complete with a mini fridge, fan, and kettle with hot drinks. Average size bedroom with comfy bed, good size bathroom with powerful shower. The boss/owner was very attentive and friendly too. We'll definitely be back soon :)

Value for money but rooms are too small. One minute walk to High Street with restaurants, pubs and malls. South Indian Hotel Saravana's is a one minute walk. Added attraction is the Valentine Park which is a two minute walk. Inconvenient for old people, there is no elevator. Car Parking is there for only two cars.
