I’m using a different email address that doesn’t have my name for privacy! I booked this hotel. The south Asian man at reception was being friendly at first but then started being so inappropriate! He was commenting on my body saying that I’m “broad and curvy” and that when I get a husband “he has to be big and strong” to handle my body. He kept repeating that my physique is “good” and “women should be built like this”. I was speechless and disgusted. I was being sexualised and objectified, I wasn’t very verbal but my facial expressions made it clear that I was unhappy so then he apologised a few minutes later. Unfortunately the apology wasn’t good enough, I felt uncomfortable the whole time I was at the hotel. The room itself had no towels and nothing in the bathroom, so then I had to go ask the same man at reception for some towels/toiletries☹️ WiFi connection was poor, remote wasn’t working properly as well.

(would give 0 if possible) Horrible experience – Unsafe, filthy, and completely unprofessional I had one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a hotel here. Upon arrival, I rang the bell at reception a staff member behind the bar saw me and chose to ignore me. After ringing again, she finally came over, incredibly rude and hostile in her approach. She demanded my ID without explaining why. When I asked for clarification, she told me I needed to send it to their reservation email something that was never communicated beforehand. Her entire tone and manner were aggressive and dismissive. Once I received my key card and went to the room, I was completely shocked. The room was absolutely filthy dirty carpets, stained bed, and worst of all, the door didn’t lock at all. I instantly felt unsafe and very distressed. The reception is attached to a pub, and there were drunk people going upstairs as I was coming down completely unacceptable for any accommodation claiming to be safe. I returned to reception in tears, explaining the situation and asking for help. The staff member laughed in my face, insisted the door locks (without even checking), and refused to go upstairs to assist. When I asked for a refund, she became even more aggressive and said I had to take it up with Booking.com. I didn’t stay more than one minute in that room. I have full recordings of the interaction and condition of the room relevant authorities. This place is not just dirty it's unsafe, unprofessional, and absolutely not fit to host guests. Avoid at all costs if you care about your health, safety, or basic human respect. I contacted Booking.com customer service to report the issue and request a refund. Instead of helping, they gave me the complete runaround. The communication was frustrating and unprofessional agents kept going back and forth, repeating the same things without offering any real resolution. Worst of all, the line kept getting cut off mid-conversation, which felt completely intentional. It seemed like they were trying to avoid dealing with the situation. I explained everything clearly and provided details, yet I'm still waiting for a proper response. It's extremely disappointing to see how Booking.com handles situations where guests are put in unsafe or unacceptable conditions. Once they have your money, you're on your own. I will think twice before ever using Booking.com again.

Avoid – Misleading listing, awful conditions, and rude staff I booked this hotel mainly because it advertised working Wi-Fi — it didn’t work at all during my stay. When I raised the issue, the receptionist just shrugged and said, “If it doesn’t work, it doesn’t work. I'm no engineer.” No effort was made to fix it or move me to another room. The room itself was terrible: it stank badly, had no ventilation, and half the lights didn’t work. When I asked for replacement bulbs, they refused. The staff were rude and completely dismissive throughout my stay. To make matters worse, I needed an invoice for my business trip, and the hotel refused to provide one. They blamed Booking.com, but Booking.com says it’s the hotel’s responsibility — I'm still chasing it. This hotel is not as advertised. Poor service, poor facilities, and zero accountability. I wouldn’t stay here again.

When we arrived at around 1am the first thing we saw or rather heard was that there was a loud party outside the door (fortunately there was such a party only for the first 2 days). Then the gentleman at the reception told us that our rooms were not available, we were about to leave when they found something. Then when we went upstairs we smelled cigarettes. The room did not smell it anymore but the room stank of chips. The next day we asked to change rooms. Surprisingly they agreed, the problem is that when we returned to the hotel in the afternoon the lady at the reception did not know what room we had now. But in the new room there was no stench or noise. For the next three days everything was great, I was especially charmed when on the last day my son put his stuffed animal on the bed and the lady put him under the duvet during the day. So the facility itself is rather average but the staff is very caring and tries to solve every problem. I give four stars because I think that these advantages far outweigh the disadvantages.

If I could give zero stars I would. Better yet negative stars is more appropriate. First and foremost the fact that you have to pay for parking while having reservations is outrageous. Also parking is small and overcrowded, probably due to the fact that there is a club/restaurant attached. Apparently many of the club goers use rooms for extracurricular activities, which might explain why the mattresses are so overuse with the springs literally poking you when you lay down. There was ants all around the room. I traveled from the US for more than 10.5 hours so I decided to look past the dingy room as I was tired and jet lagged. All night log all you can hear are doors slamming and extra curricular activities happening. The morning after arrival fiance went to shower and the shower head was broken so it started spraying water all over the bathroom. We went to the event we had going that day and when returned we decided it was not worth staying the additional night we had paid for the room nor for the parking. It was really a terrible experience. Stained mattress, pillows bedsheets and towels. Also the floor vinyls were coming off the floor not to mention an odd smell in the room. I do NOT recommend this hotel. Don't let the pictures shown fool you, the rooms look nothing like the pictures.

Had no issues with this hotel. Room was comfortable and clean & the staff were so friendly! Didn't hear any noise during the night at all. Would definitely visit again

Stayed for 1 night during New year's eve. It is ok. Room 90 ft2 mattress bigger than bed. Shower and toilet good size although shower cubicle door too small. A little bit noisy from adjacent bar but manageable. Reception is not rude but could be more friendly and customer service oriented. I recommend first Ibis London Barking or Travelodge.

Very clean, great shower, but thanks to a large air vent to the outside, hardly any sleep. The bar downstairs didn't close until midnight, busses passing all night, and at 6am, people started setting up market stalls right outside. If you want a good night's sleep, stay somewhere else.

The rooms have no windows and no natural ventilation but they DO have air conditioning which is a lifesaver, except for the fact it made a god awful death rattle every 5 minutes! The noise from the club next door wasn’t as bad as some have said but I think that’s due to the noise the air conditioning was making and the fact the room shook every time someone walked past! I think Josef Fritzl’s basement would have been more comfortable!
