We was in the room no 4o in Christmas time. Everything was very clean. All the staff were so lovely and helpful. No matter what, there was always someone there for you. We'll be back! Liudmyla, Olga, Felix, Julia, Svitlana and all the another one's you guys are incredible. ❤️ Happy new year all of you
Absolutely fantastic experience! I have stayed many hotels before in Germany and in UK. But this Best western Ilford, is amazing because of their service. The staff is very friendly and very active. My family loves our stay. Special thanks to Julia and Svitlana, they are amazing in Front desk. We are thankful to kitchen and housecleaning staff, Livdmyla, Olga and Felix.
It is unnecessary to drag things on and on to let everything fester. Before I proceed, may every wicked thing done to me be returned to the doer and their loved ones. On Friday 12th December 2025, the cleaner Helena took my laptop and threw it on the floor. This is the second time; she got away with it the first time. This time she got caught. On the same day, the then General Manager named Stefan (the name he screamed to the police) ran down the street yelling, "I am going to tell the council to cancel your booking and I am going to evict you". The police have deemed his behaviour threatening. Of prime importance, whilst the guest who is known by the Hilton, Holiday Inn, Travelodge and Ibis, with calls of "you are welcome back anytime", was speaking with the police in the foyer area of the reception, the man was yelling on megaphone. Police: "Look, put us on speakerphone"—the man never stopped yelling. Read the negative reviews carefully. Read the review stating they have lived in the hotel for 3 months—ask yourself what state the carpets are in—and then move on to the long review detailing their own experience with the carpet. Their observations about the hotel are perfect. Ten years of dirt ingrained into the carpets of the living space without seeing a carpet cleaner. Yet, the hotel will quite happily use a professional to clean the carpets in the corridor. The question is why? Two people from the Cheltenham area have just checked into the hotel. This was also on Friday. The issue now is to do with damage limitation. Ignore their review. Read the reviews about the carpets in the rooms infested with dust mites and the hotel refuses to employ a professional to wash the carpets. On Friday 12 December during the early hours, a guest who is a walking advert for Chanel was shouting overtop to scream, "I can't stay here". The keywords are dust mites and unsafe and unsecure rooms with staff intentionally smashing up your items. The hotel was given a deadline to organise a repair or to buy a new laptop, or the matter will be escalated. The hotel chose the latter.

While standard in size, the bedding was comfortable and essential amenities (Wi-Fi, AC) worked well. The professional staff ensured a smooth check-in/out process, and a special shout-out goes to Olga for being exceptionally helpful and polite during my stay. Overall If you need a reliable, spotless base for exploring London without the central city price tag, this is a strong recommendation. Perfect for value-conscious tourists and business travelers.
This hotel is an excellent choice for those looking for great value. While the rooms are admittedly small and the corridors are narrow, this is easily overlooked due to the exceptional standard of cleanliness throughout the entire property. Everything was spotlessly clean, which made for a very comfortable stay. The breakfast is a standout feature, offering an unlimited English breakfast for just £7 – a fantastic and affordable way to start the day. To top it all off, the receptionist was very helpful and welcoming. If you prioritise cleanliness and value over spaciousness, I would highly recommend this hotel.
Worst hotel ever!!!!!!!i have stayed in the hotel 4 months and it was soo badd they give us the badest room that they had!!the reseption girls some there nice some not nice at all!!!
I booked my reservation SIX MONTHS in advance at a reasonable rate. I find out less than 20 days before my travel that my room was CANCELED for NO REASON. I had even called the hotel and the booking company 2 months before the trip to confirm the hotel and was told everything was fine. I have a feeling this hotel realized a large event was taking place the days we booked and canceled it so they could squeeze more money out of people.
Stayed at other BWs and all were good. This one: It would have been nice to have been advised that there was some refurbishing being done and to get breakfast we needed to walk to another hotel. Also nice if I was advised of the £50 security deposit which was needed for each room! Now let's see how long will it take to get them back! Overall: meh!
Worst place i stayed in europe. My room was dirty. Even though we had paid for the breakfast in advance we decided to eat outside as it was incomparably bad. If you can, avoid this place. Any hostel might be a better treat. Please close this place for hygienic reasons!
Nice and friendly staff, receptionist Mani guided me to the room and explained about the wifi and breakfast clearly. Breakfast was excellent and good ambience. Rooms are neat and budget friendly. I would recommend anyone to stay here as the maintenance is really good.
