   We stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton Dartford Bridge for three nights over Christmas with my wife, our three young children, my mother-in-law and sister-in-law, and I honestly can’t speak highly enough of the team. In an era where hospitality can often feel overly transactional especially in and around London this hotel was a real breath of fresh air. Every single member of staff we encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. It felt human, relaxed, and kind, which makes such a difference when travelling with young children and extended family. Food & Beverage deserves special mention. Mihaela, the Assistant Manager, was an absolute Wonder Woman. She was working in the bar when we ate on Christmas Day and was an absolute delight, alongside the superb Ashwin. We then saw Mihaela at every breakfast service we attended, including the very busy 9–9:30am rush when every family in the hotel seemed to arrive at once. She led her team calmly and brilliantly. I’ve seen many teams understandably struggle in those conditions, but this one coped admirably. Assisting her at breakfast were the charming and hardworking Farzana, along with the amazing Alex, Violeta, and Bipanan. Despite how busy it was, service remained friendly, organised, and efficient, which says everything about the leadership and team spirit. Front of House were equally wonderful. Evie gave us a superbly warm welcome and made my children feel genuinely special, especially my nearly five-year-old son, who was thrilled that she shared her name with a Pokémon. Those small moments matter enormously when you’re travelling as a family. Costin, Thushy, and Caitlin were also fantastic warm, friendly, and truly embodying the essence of hospitality. Housekeeping was excellent too. Dorina, the housekeeping supervisor, was charming and delightful, and our rooms were spotless throughout the stay. Every member of staff we encountered was superb, without exception. The pool was also a great bonus for the children, and the booking system worked well even with many families staying at the same time. A genuinely lovely stay, made special by an outstanding team. We’d happily return and wholeheartedly recommend this hotel, especially for families looking for warmth, care, and real hospitality rather than just a place to sleep.

   Rooms always cold the heating doesn't work very well. The breakfast is excellent as is the other food selection. The trouble at this hotel is they allow people to stand outside the entrance until early hours screaming and shouting. Clearly these people have no respect for the other hotel guests and are just selfish people. EV chargers right next to hotel. Staff are always very helpful.

   A good location and a very good hotel. I visited on a Christmas time and they decorated well the reception area. The bar theme as well was really good. The rooms are spacious and the have great amenities but the bath area was really small only that I felt little weird for a star hotel. Definitely would recommend for a stay here.

   I must be entirely candid: my experience at this hotel left me with mixed feelings. The Room – 5/5 The room itself was a true highlight. Spacious, bright, and impeccably clean, it offered a comfortable stay. However, I did notice a small oversight in amenities: there were only two large towels and a single hand towel. Face towels would have been a welcome addition, though this did not significantly detract from the overall experience. Service – 5/5 The staff, particularly the receptionist Anastasia, were exemplary. Polite, attentive, and genuinely helpful, they made checking in and navigating the hotel a pleasant experience. Breakfast – 3/5 The breakfast was pleasant, though somewhat limited. The selection of hot dishes was restricted: there were no mushrooms, no fresh vegetables at all, and eggs were offered only as scrambled. That said, everything that was available was well-prepared and tasty. The Spa – 1/5 Regrettably, the spa fell far below expectations. For anyone seeking a serene, relaxing evening, this facility is currently unsuitable. The spa area was unclean, with debris under the loungers. Over the course of two days, forgotten personal items, including underwear, were left unattended. The lighting was harsh, bright white, and clinical, in both the spa and steam room, creating an unwelcoming atmosphere. The jacuzzi was notably unclean; I even photographed the tiles to illustrate the grime I had to wipe away myself. Final Thoughts Despite its shortcomings, the spa has immense potential. With a modest investment of approximately £500, management could transform this area into a far more inviting and comfortable space. I would not hesitate to return once improvements are made, but in its current state, the spa is a decisive deterrent. In summary, the hotel excels in comfort, cleanliness, and service, offers a decent if slightly limited breakfast, yet the spa requires urgent attention. With these enhancements, this property could easily become a standout choice for a relaxing stay.

   Really nice weekend away here. The rooms are nice and spacious. Location is really nice, about 10-15 mins drive to bluewater shopping center & lakeside shopping center - so plenty to do for couples/family. The swimming pool/jacuzzi and sauna was really nice, we enjoyed going down for a swim when it wasn't too busy. We did go on a weekend so it was quite busy at times. Room service & bar was nice. Overall the room loses one star personally because the lighting was a bit dark and the bed quite firm. Everything else was perfect during our stay.

   I had a wonderful stay at the Hilton with my partner. It was his birthday, and I spoke on the phone prior to our stay to Natasha on reception; she was very helpful in organising balloons and cake to surprise him upon arrival, and she was also the one to check us in with a warm welcome. The room was spotless and modern, and we were pleased with the facilities available. Unfortunately, the sauna and steam room were closed, but this did not spoil our stay, and we still enjoyed a lovely dip in the pool. Despite the bar being busy, the service from the bar staff was excellent. I would not hesitate to book again. Thank you for a lovely stay.

   Stayed for the night with my partner and we were both very happy with the facilities and service at the hotel. The receptionists were very welcoming and the checkin was quick and easy. Natasha was very helpful in explaining where everything was and helped us in finding some extra coffee. The room was clean and spacious and the beds comfy. Overall a pleasant stay.

   Our stay at the Hilton Dartford was so lovely! We stayed here as a treat when we come back from our wedding and the reception staff were amazing! Made us feel so welcome, honestly couldn’t do enough for us! Made us feel really special knowing we were newlyweds. Especially Lorna and Ellie, they were just super friendly and really made our experience enjoyable. The room was lovely, really clean! Great facilities in the room! Overall such an amazing stay and definitely will be returning and recommending to family and friends for when they visit us.
