Stayed for a few nights while the area and distance from hotel to destination was ideal the hotel wasn't so much but after a bit of a clean we was ok but I would advise the company to employ a better cleaning company or allow more time for the staff to actually do there job properly. Also would appreciate not having to share the room with with the pets the hotel has(cockroach)

I had a very unpleasant experience at this hotel. The receptionist named himself Ali was extremely rude and aggressive during check-in. Instead of welcoming me, he spoke harshly and made me feel like I was being pushed out rather than assisted and left the property. The receptionist named himself Ali is very unprofessional ,rude and dismissive person doesn’t know abc of human ethics. This is completely unacceptable for a hotel that claims to offer good service. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this place based on how guests are treated at the front desk.

If I could do 0 stars I would. Arrived after booking through booking.com. Payed the security deposit and was then taken to our first family room. The room was large with a double and two single beds in, however the double bed was broken, and there was dirty rags on top of the wardrobe, the carpet was dirty and the mirror had splatter marks on it. When we found the bed was broke we went to reception and they supported us to a different family room. Initially this room appeared brighter however there was several mouse poison boxes in the room (luckily our autistic son had stayed with his grandparent that night). When we went to reception they said they could not refund us straight away and we'd have to go through booking.com and the security deposit would take 7 days to refund despite us only arriving 20 minutes earlier. They offered to move us to their sister hotel which is 1 star higher than theirs free of charge however, we declined this because it was 9pm and we could not be assured it would not be the same situation. Also got multiple bug bites on our legs in the short time we were there. For nearly Β£50 a night you expect some level of cleanliness and not to have mouse boxes in the rooms.

I booked this hotel for one night, arriving in the evening. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing and honestly quite frightening. At around 2 a.m., while we were sleeping, my partner heard a noise and woke me up. We both heard rustling, and when I turned on the light, we saw a mouse run underneath the bed. We screamed in shock, and what concerns me even more is that despite how loud we were, no staff came to check on us. We immediately started packing our things to leave. We saw the mouse again while gathering our belongings, which only added to the stress and fear. When we asked for a refund, we were simply offered a different room, which we declined given the circumstances. We asked again for a refund, but were told we needed to handle it through lastminute.com instead of the hotel taking responsibility. Beyond the mouse incident, the overall cleanliness was unacceptable. The hotel lobby looked old and dirty, and the room itself wasn’t clean β€” even the sheets had marks on them. This experience completely ruined our weekend. I am extremely disappointed and would not recommend staying here.

Update: After more than a month, my Β£100 deposit was finally refunded. After 14 days, the hotel still hasn't returned the Β£100 deposit... It's cheap, location wonderful, but the smell is a bit strong. If the room is on the second floor, it's no problem. If the room is on the first floor near the entrance, the sound of the door closing is very annoying.

The only good part was the low price There were homeless people in the breakfastroom. (No joke) staff did nothing about it

Run as fast as you can from the Park Hotel Ilford. I have never experienced a business operation so sleazy and unprofessional. After a day's worth of travel, I was excited to rest my head for the night. The front desk attendant was extremely unprofessional. I was told to pay a Β£50 deposit, which was to be expected given the caliber of hotel. However, immediately after taking my credit card, the representative told me my reservation had been moved to a different, nearby property. He then proceeded to say there was nothing I needed to do, and they would call a taxi for me. He provided no justification for this change in itinerary. At this point, I knew I had to leave. I booked a different hotel in Central London and left shortly thereafter. Apart from the terrible check-in experience, the building was dilapidated and dirty. The location was close to Ilford, but unsafe. If you are visiting Greater London, and in search of a budget hotel, do not bother giving any of your time or money to this joke of an establishment.

We came here last minute The receptionist on the phone said that oh they have a room for us, come We went there, we paid for 1 night (2 adults) 300Β£+ 50Β£ deposit (which we will never get back i guess) After we paid, he told us the news that he doesn’t have a room for us… But we can go to their sister hotel He gave us the wrong address We went to 4(!) different hotels that day It’s ridiculous It’s not worth it Stay away from this place!!!

The carpet in the room was filthy and dated. The bathroom was clean and tidy until you see the shower head. Walls were damaged. The many wifi passwords we were given didn't matter as there were no wifi signals in the hotel. So glad I had 4G. Breakfast was hash browns, sausage and beans....no thanks went to Mc'Ds instead. There was a strong smell of cannabis in the hallways upstairs, strange as they have a no smoking policy. The bed was clean and comfy though, which gained the one star.

It was value for money..The manager was very friendly although he didn't talk much but was very helpful and brought us extra pillows. Rooms are very clean except the carpet but the amount of people that come in and out of the hotel it's expected. Bedding and Towels very clean. beds were good too..We really enjoyed the Buffet Breakfast.. Breakfast area was very clean and well lit.. We enjoyed our stay..Good value for money!!! It's going to be my regular when I come East of London..
