Pages Holtel Is my favourite place to stay when In harlow, comfortable competitive rates clean constantly see cleaners, beds comfortable sheets clean. The house is very quaint and beautiful, quite area. If this is the kind of hotel that you would like to stay, pages hotel is the one for you. Comes with parking and WiFi
Lovely place. When I’m passing by Harlow I’m booking it straight (if it’s free). U can even get free breakfast. I can argue with you if you think it’s not worth it ✌️
Car park was small ,so I had to park on the street. But a lovely place . Also the remote for the tv wasn't working , but it didnt matter to me as it was only a place for me to crash for the night.
Fantastic hidden gem. Don't believe the whingers, it's clear with a shared kitchen you should do your own washing up! The owner communication was excellent, the communal areas are gorgeous. As some Bathrooms are shared I would say a little maintenance is needed, however this place is in a gorgeous village, close to airport, road and rail links, plus free parking! I will definitely return.
Outside the Building and gardens are lovely, But inside it's just new paint over things. Heaters Never heat up, windows are not double glazed and don't fully close in some rooms. In the Bathroom there's nowhere to hang towels, and the Bed mattress is like sleeping upon Stone. Kitchen is nice but breakfast is done by yourself, as there are NO STAFF ONSITE. My TV couldn't find and channels, and when I called to say so, I was told to set it up myself like a new install, that's NOT ON, and in Room No1 you can hear people entering and above you ALL NIGHT. My advice pay the extra £10 that it may cost to stay elsewhere .
Good night for stay before flight from Stansted. If I had to complain about anything, it would be a few doors banging in the evening. I liked the fact we had use of the kitchen and could help ourselves to a basic breakfast early morning. Definitely will stay again
Stay? We didn't stay more than 30 minutes before packing back up and leaving. The room smelled like musty urine, the tv wouldn't work and the ceiling was covered in stains like something above was leaking. We tried contacting the owner but there is nobody around if you have any issues and nobody gets back to you. Worst place we have ever gone to stay.
If your happy to share facilities and use communal areas then I suppose this is a good place. The rooms are very basic but made comfortable and warm. Helpful manager and very nice and helpful cleaning team.
Very pleased with the hotel/guesthouse. Accessing the building was quite straightforward. The rooms were large and very clean and all had en suites. The kitchen/lounge area was very spacious and had a variety of breakfast cereals, breads, jams etc and a large supply of tea, coffee and milk. Utensils and crockery supplied. Stayed there as daughter was getting married the following day and we used the large family/garden room to get ready with the bridesmaids. Can highly recommend.
This was a nice cosy place to stay. Also one of the quietest. We enjoyed our few nights there. Kitchen well-equipped and the sunroom out back was a lovely place to breakfast. My only suggestion would be to put net curtains on windows of ground floor rooms. If we had our curtains open to make the most of the sun, we often very uncomfortably made eye-contact with people arriving or leaving. We enjoyed our stay other than this, though, and can recommend the guest house as great value.
