I have been a nurse for 17 years, I had a stroke and ended up in a coma. Englands pharmacy have been looking after my medical for a while. And all the staff are fantastic, I now have a medical alert pass as due to my stroke I have a few seconds to use the bathroom. At Englands pharmacy they have always been fantastic and understanding, they always let me use the bathroom and someone waits outside. This is absolutely humiliating for me. But they never let me wet myself, however today. The weekend staff pharmacist lidia Joanna ciesieleska would not let me use the bathroom, regardless of my medical alert pass, regarding of me explaining I’ve used the bathroom here before and it’s never been an issue. She stood at the back of the pharmacy resulting in me having to shout with other customers in the pharmacy which it’s self is humiliating, her colleagues asked if she would speak to me in a private room and she said I’ve got a patient to see if first, I wet myself. Laura who works there and has seen me use the bathroom before said nothing, the male staff member with the beard and long hair said “ I dnt remember” bear in mind this was said behind the counter in front of everyone. They made me out to be a liar.. the pharmacy have let me use the toilet before, they understand this isn’t a game. It’s an illness and humiliation.. I am disappointed and disgusted by the way this pharmacist and staff treated me, if they or their family was even in this unfortunate position would they let them wet themself. So disgusting and shameful, they are not disabled friendly.. can’t believe the difference in the pharmacist. I hope one day she wets herself and feel humiliated herself!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I just want to say a huge thank you to the team at England Pharmacy for their hard work and dedication. The staff are incredibly efficient, and it's clear they are adapting well to their new system. Despite the changes, they continue to provide an excellent level of service with professionalism and care. A special mention to Oliver, who served me today. He was professional, courteous, and incredibly well-mannered. His friendliness and professionalism truly made my day – it’s rare to come across such outstanding customer service! Thank you again to the whole team for all your hard work. It doesn’t go unnoticed, and it’s greatly appreciated!

I wish I could give them zero stars. Honestly, this pharmacy is the worst. I had already paid for my prescription and got an owing slip, but they refused to accept it and told me I had to pay again. They treated me like I was trying to scam them! I had to go back to my GP, show them the slip and receipt, and they confirmed the pharmacy had already claimed the payment and should have just given me my prescription. The GP even gave me the token to prove it. Hands down, the worst pharmacy I’ve ever dealt with.

Explain to me how you manage to print 2 labels, both with: 7 x *medication* tablets ONE to be taken THREE times a day for 7 days. and provide 7 tablets in each box. The prescription was clear enough to see. Then, how did this label make it past being checked by the pharmacist before being handed over! This isn't about poor service and having to return for the correct prescription, this is potentially dangerous if you're missing details like this. Don't even attempt to blame the assistant either, the buck stops at the pharmacist, that's why you're there! UPDATE I just check and they've only gone and short changed me AGAIN! Once blister of 7 and 2 blisters of 5 IS NOT TWENTYONE!!

This review is intended to be a constructive one, not a vent. So I’m hoping that the new management takes heed, for what it’s worth. I’m in my 50’s and I’ve used the pharmacy my whole life, without complaint. But since the takeover, I can no longer bare to use their services and have switched pharmacy today! My experience lately has been a frustrating one, long waits 30-60 min waits for prescriptions that should be ready to collect (and are not) are not uncommon. You must also check your prescriptions before leaving the premises as too frequently now, not everything is present, so you stand in line all over again. The type of clientele using this service are sick, old, in pain and cannot and should not have to wait these ridiculous times. The system seems chaotic, unstructured and whilst the staff are pleasant, the ball has been dropped. The ‘old’ pharmacy system worked well. There’s a saying, if it’s not broken, don’t fix it! That said, you could do with changing that door… I’ve watched many a poor old dear and Mums with prams, burst a blood vessel trying to open it!

Local, right next door to Beech Hill Medical Practice.

Able to collect online repeat prescriptions. Can be long queuing time as they only allow 2 customers in at a time, due to COVID-19 regulations.

Putting a sign in the window / on the door to notify people of a change to opening hours will only ever have limited success. People check the website, see you open at 8:15am & arrive at the pharmacy accordingly. Surely the person who wrote the sign stating you now open at 9am could have altered your hours on-line and prevented people having to wait outside for 45mins. Very poor customer care to my elderly father today left outside and told they had more important things to do!

Staff rude and often shout at you if you question them about where your prescription is then when they realise they made a mistake dont even apologise. I had a panic attack in the pharmacy and after 6 members of staff either wouldnt look at me or glared at me like I was an annoyance one of them asked me if I was ok. When I said no I received no response. I have changed pharmacy I have put up with these for far too long.
