“We used this chemist as the patient was recuperating at my house after a hernia operation. We requested the repeat prescription one day & he received a text the next to say they were ready. His usual chemist takes at least a week. We arrived to collect the tablets & were met straightaway by a very pleasant lady who brought the tablets & mentioned that something had been flagged up as new but I checked all the tablets & they were fine so it must have been the temporary change of chemist. Great chemist & lovely staff.”

“We brought Hunter here from a pup to transition him onto a raw diet. The choice is amazing, he loves his rabbit ears and chicken feet treats! They sell everything from toys and accessories to dog grooming needs - everything you can think of really!! A lovely little gem of a shop and the staff are so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, giving us advice on what and how to feed. Well worth a visit and highly recommended, I wouldn’t go anywhere else!”

“As friendly as it get all staff are helpful and polite it's worth noting they close for dinner between 1 and 2pm and close at 1pm on Wednesdays and seeing it's only a small premises everything that is needed is available. monitored medication supervision is available knowing this isn't available at all pharmacy's. And waiting time is minimal”

“Very helpful pharmacy. They have a private room, I've used the free blood pressure check service one time when I dropped in to pick up my prescription. I receive text to tell me that my monthly prescription is ready to be collected. I don't think they offer a delivery service which would be helpful sometimes as a cancer patient. I get fatigued on treatment so do rely on family who live nearby to be able to pick it up for me sometimes.”

Cannot comment on speed of getting a prescription which is given to them in person, as haven't experienced that yet. Staff seemed friendly enough, hard to tell with the social distancing at the moment, as they all had masks and visors on.”

“I am so grateful for the care given my granddaughter who collapsed yesterday with her asthma after having to walk up from Boots who had really not been very nice to her over needing another blue inhaler. They lectured her about her asthma being unstable even after she explained to them she was awaiting a chest appointment with the asthma team. It was suggested she should be on oxygen therapy, a diagnosis they are not qualified to make. The Gentleman at Rowlands was wonderful with her a treated her immediately with 8 puffs which she needed. He was very up to date on asthma, kind and caring. The was patients needing assistance should be treated. Well done Rowlands!”

“I visited Boots the Chemist at Bryn, Ashton-in-Makerfield yesterday afternoon. I wanted to return some items for a refund which I had purchased on line. I spoke with a lovely member of staff called Paris. Staff were having difficulty refunding some Advantage points back to my card, when Paris took control of the situation and contacted Customer Services for me. She obtained updated information from Customer Services about my points, addressed the points refund discrepancy, and provided me with a till print-out of my points balance.
