Im currently staying here as I needed somewhere safe and close to st thomas hospital as my dad is very poorly in intensive care. The room is perfect for my needs, clean and well equipped. The bed is super comfy, and although you can here trains n people having fun, I found comfort in this. I would definitely stay again in a heartbeat , hopefully in better circumstances xx

Do not stay here ! 1-Get into the room with access code is chaotic angry customers keep calling downstairs at the building to get access code 2- Sewage smell in room , toilet flushing out of order keep flushing for 3 days during my stay , shower curtain do not stop water coming out from shower , bathroom flood after shower . 3- The bedsheet not change from previous customer stay , there are blood stain on it . 4 - No luggage storage or front desk which not indicated in booking platform . 5- Did not expect this quality with almost €300 per night the price I paid . The only good thing is customer service did call me to follow up during my stay and on the day check out .

This Hotel is made of shipping containers!! really cool! It's basically located over Waterloo Station and you can see the London Eye. Be prepared as there is no staff onsite, however, you can call the number provided in case you require anything. (B&B style) Overall very safe.

Nothing positive to say, let me start by saying that hygiene issues are a big concern here, one knife missing in our chopping board (pretty concerning) bathroom floors not cleaned before arrival, faeces on the toilet seat, chipped drawers, bathroom sink with hair in it (no joke) some spotlights not working, etc. Me and my partner stayed here before so our expectations were way higher, at first we politely asked if they could check our room as we were going to leave to go out for the night, they agreed someone will check our room in 5-10 minutes, when we arrived by midnight nothing changed. We thought we’ll sleep then leave, couldn’t even use the bathroom cause it was dirty, found out even the shower knobs were broken and the water running was cold, typical. All the receptionist would offer is a late check out after all of this has encountered but wait there’s more, as we were getting changed to leave because why would we stay someone where we’ve been served no care/leisure? At 9:45am and 12:30pm (before our checkout) cleaners were banging our room door and walking in twice as me and my partner were getting changed in the morning and the second time just as we were about to leave, baring in mind our check out was at 1, the cleaners were even unaware both times of our late check out. So unprofessional, but wait, there’s more, manager doesn’t work weekends so we had to wait until Monday morning to complain and he laughed in my partners face saying “if there was a health and safety concern we would’ve left” I’m shocked by this behaviour, I called the receptionist full of frustration now and all she could say is “I understand” and further along in the call rudely hang up on me. If I could I would give zero, disgusting service, rooms, people, never staying again.

DO NOT STAY HERE. You will never stop hearing from us until your manager grows a pair and calls back. Room with no working shower, poo on toilet seat, dirty floors, no turnaround,, twice interrupted too early by cleaners, opening doors on sleeping guests…. What more do you want??? Oh yeah and by the way I’m not finished with you. Hanging up on customers too…. YOU WILL SEE THIS POST MORE - you should deal with your customers better.

The idea of making an hotel from shipping containers is genial. I really loved my room, the self check-in and self check-out. This property does not have staff but you can speck to them over the phone at any time in case you need any help. The location is just off Waterloo station and very convenient for travel or to explore the nearby area (amazing) .

Excellent idea. Despite being located next to the track, this Hotel made of shipping containers has all you need for a great stay. Be prepared to use a bit of technology and check your emails for the check-in instructions. The staff on the other side of the phone was very friendly and helpful

Great location and quieter than other parts of London. The shipping g container was kitted put very nicely and it was very comfortable. Others have complained of the noise from the trains but earplugs were provided and really, one should be aware of where you are booking so you aren’t surprised. Noisy trains are NOT the hotel’s fault. The main issue we had was the automatic/motion sensor lights and not being able to control them. If you turn the lights off, the air con also goes off. Not the most restful sleep when the lights are full on every time you move around. All in all, a very good location and experience.

I have spent a total of 8 nights at this place. Since London is well visited at this time, the rates were also accordingly high. The location is very central and you can walk to many sights in a few minutes. In the first impression, the apartment is nicely furnished, but if you take a closer look, it is an absolute disaster. The apartment was not particularly clean on arrival and lacked personality. The heating does not work, the ventilation of the room is incredibly loud and the light from the motion detector in the hallway flashes constantly. The windows are not very thick, so you can really hear everything outside. After 6 nights I wanted to change the apartment to a higher floor, which I was promised. I was offered neither an early check in nor a late check out and no other help. The apartment was fully booked, but you can still offer help instead of just sending a link where you had to take care of luggage storage yourself. There is no luggage room there. After all these nights they wanted me to check out at 11am, bring my luggage somewhere else and check in again at 4pm. Ridiculous. I've stayed then in the same apartment. The apartment was not cleaned during mid stay cleaning. It was dirty, white socks were black after a few steps, there was thick dust next to the bed and dirty dishes were put in the dishwasher with clean dishes. I asked several times for an extra blanket, however I only received a bed cover. The highlight of the whole thing, however, was that our door was not closed after cleaning and thus stood open all day. Anyone could just walk into our apartment. When I reported this by email, my message was ignored until today. Before that I got very quick answers to my questions. There is no one on site, I understand that, however the customer service is an absolute disaster and complaints are simply ignored. Due to the fact that there is a lack of insight and security here, I will never book Stow Away again and cannot recommend this to anyone.
