Great location especially if you're in the city for theatres and musicals. Lots of take aways and eateries in the area. Close to a lot of attractions and museums especially the British Museum. Rooms are a good size and well equipped. Very safe as doors lock at 10pm but one can still access via room key card. 24/7 pizza available for order. Bar stays open until early hours of the morning. We had an issue with the room we had regarding the A/C not working and there was also a problem with the bathroom too. However, they changed our room with no fuss and staff were very helpful. We will definitely stay again and I highly recommend this particular Travelodge.

quick reception booked in within minutes and there was a queue when we arrived. All staff we encountered were friendly happy and very polite. Room was excellent, spacious, clean . Bed - very comfy Bathroom, spacious, clean. perfect sized room. Evening bar . Food in bar area was very tasty, cooked nicely and staff attentive. however would have liked a little more meal choices. also the dressing on salad was very spicy and would have preferred it on side si could have added my own as they did put a lot on. Breakfast was extremely busy, but buffet was constantly being topped up. be prepared to wait to get in or get there super early. But all tasty, and good selection of fruit, jams pastries etc. Building is conveniently placed, several local site seeing things are within walking distance covent garden theatres etc and taxis are coming by most of the day. pleasantly surprised with this one and will be definitely booking here again.

Let's begin on a positive note: this is a wonderful location. And the rates are more than reasonable. The rooms aren't generous but certainly adequate. The beds aren't shoved against a wall, there's a coffee maker and kettle, and the breakfast option is fine. Now let's talk about housekeeping: it's not good at all. Seems the staff has been cut back pretty drastically. Common areas aren't vacuumed, nor are elevators mopped. Same dirt on the hallway floors for three days. And the poor overworked cleaning staff that's left is instructed not to make beds, just deliver new coffee supplies and towels. It's as if Management is still operating under a twisted Covid19 protocol.

I stayed here for two nights and, unfortunately, the experience wasn’t great. There was no phone in the room, so even for small things I had to go downstairs to reception. Basic amenities like slippers and a toothbrush weren’t provided, which you’d normally expect in most hotels. Also the coffee machine in the room didn’t work too. The biggest issue was the heating. The air conditioner kept switching off on its own, and there was a light on the ceiling that kept blinking throughout the night. Between the cold room and the flashing light, I barely slept on both nights. The only truly positive part of my stay was the reception. The girl in the hijab was incredibly kind and patient — she helped me a lot and made things easier whenever she could. The location was also great, very close to central London, which was convenient. Overall, the stay was far from comfortable, but the helpful reception and good location were the few redeeming factors.

Great location, clean and spacious rooms. We enjoyed the bar area and on one morning took advantage of the buffet style breakfast. We were pleasantly surprised by the range and quality of food on offer. Throughout our stay all the staff we met were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend for a short break in London.

The 5 stars goes solely to the staff here. They are excellent. Very friendly, welcoming and all had a great attitude. I didn't catch names, but everyone we encountered was positive, happy, and really friendly. They couldn't have been more polite! Plenty of staff too! Pizzas till 4am is always a bonus. The room was good. I can't fault our stay. Highly recommended for a place to rest your head whilst in London. We stayed Sunday night, 30 October 2022 for all that worked that night, big thank you!!

Make sure to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any room. They compare hundreds of booking web sites and typically will have rates a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This place is the best rated in the area. I've been coming here for a long time. If you decide to stay here you definitely won't regret it. Great location! We’ve stayed in London 4 times in different areas this is by far the best! Hardly used the oyster

Room needs refurbished badly. For the shower we had to stand in the bath and fight with the shower curtain which tried to wrap itself round you. I haven't experienced that in a hotel for 30 years!! The bathroom was shabby and the toilet needed a lot of pressure before it would flush! The location is excellent, but if we came back it would have to be to a super room. Positives: the bed was very clean and comfortable and the staff at reception were extremely understanding and helpful.

I came for a work event so I understand my company didn't chip for a penthouse suite, but the room was a little basic. It had all the amenities but you could tell it was a cheap and cheerful room-for-a-night experience than anywhere I'd go for a holiday. Still if you're around for work, the breakfasts are a great start to the day and reasonably priced, the staff are all absolutely lovely & the beds are reasonably comfortable. Can't ask for more.

I am posting this review before we have even checked out because I am so impressed with the kind and friendly service at this hotel. From an error with the booking to start with we had to change location to Covent garden which was great. The customer service was excellent over the phone. You can tell that everybody enjoys working there as there is a really good energy, nothing is any trouble and service is with a smile. The location is perfect. The rooms are very adequate, a little brighter would be nice and just some water in the rooms. But super happy here, would definitely come back. Keep up the good work guys
