   I found this local pharmacy when my designated one couldn't fulfill my prescription. Alexander's were able to do this so I signed up. I am delighted with the service. The pharmacists are knowledgeable and informative. Nothing seems too much trouble. The ladies on the till are extremely friendly and always go above and beyond. I have been going for 3 months now and my prescriptions are ready or a couple of minutes to prepare. They also sell nice gifts and cards.

   On 3 occasions asking for repeat prescriptions they often say it arrived 'this morning' I checked with the Gp surgery and the prescription was sent the previous week. Just phoned today and told my prescription from Friday 14/3/25 arrived this morning 18/3/25. When I challenged this, they said it their mistake that it was 14/3/25. Happened 3 or 4 times now, so tell me if this is misleading patients? I only went to this pharmacy as they have a collection machine but when I ask to put the prescription in the machine it seems like a burden to them and takes much longer to process and not worth the convienance of having a machine outside.

   If you want to submit your prescription then pop in a few days later for a speedy collection then this is not the pharmacy for you. Doesn't matter if you requested your prescription 3 weeks prior, it won't be ready and you'll be told to sit and wait with no timeframe. I gave up after 30 mins, came back 2 days later and was told to wait again while it was processed. Unreal.

   Thank you for you very professional help today. I had a 111 Referral for emergency meds as I am away from home and run out of tablets. Although you didn't have 1 of the meds available you advised how to sort things out and I have now had my meds delivered to me from another lovely chemist. From the lady who took my first call and the pharmacist I spoke to I was so impressed with your kindness and service. Thanks again. Barbara Arrowsmith.

   Having endured delays in Boots and their inability to get my medication, my prescription was sent here. Bear in mind I had to wait 20 mins in Boots just to pick up a prescription and be told they couldn’t obtain a specific item. Fast forward to Alexanders tonight. My prescription with the unavailable items in Boots was available ant they even said they would keep some in stock for me. Busy chemist but well impressed with the friendliness of the staff. All future prescriptions will be coming here rather than Boots. Well done Alexander’s. Well impressed

   Alexander’s is one of the nicest chemists I’ve been to.I went there this afternoon to pick up a prescription and ask about a flu injection. Vicky was happy to fit me and my husband in for our jabs. She also helped me fill in the forms on my phone when I was having trouble. She was really helpful, so thank you Vicky! Also I’d like to say thank you to Sarah. What a beautiful human being! She is always happy to help in any situation and the community are lucky to have her. Great shop, great staff!

   Been there only few times and each time it's just soooooo frustrating. Lady's behind the tills are too busy with private conversations that customers are nuisances. Lady who served me only did the prescription bit and did not want to serve over the counter medicine, telling me she will do it later, which she didn't. She was telling me she knows what's on the prescription and when she finally checked she was wrong, then she argued with me that the medicine is the same, well it's not, and unless she takes both of them for years she would not know the difference, but my child knows as was taking it for years and each time it's different brand it feels different for my child. I found it extremely rude and arrogant, even the doctor knows there is a difference between brands, but she thinks she knows everything better and felt she had to put me down with her little knowledge. It's a horrible customer service. I won't use this pharmacy again and would definitely not recommend it to anyone.
