Just ordered a delivery and it was running a bit behind because they were so busy. Busy enough for the owner to be doing deliveries, she was so appologetic it was a bit late, which we were completely fine with but she gave us a free bottle of pop. So appricative plus the bonus of delicious food
If you don't normally get fish and chips from this place and are looking at the reviews to wonder if you should try it please save yourself the money and disappointment and go somewhere else. If you go here regularly for fish and chips Why? It's terrible. I hope this was an off day for the sake of fish and chips. The chips I had were dry and tough and more like crispy dry leather. The fish itself was ok but the batter was just strange and quite thick and tasteless. The curry sauce looked like slop from floor and was pretty tasteless. This may seem like a harsh review but I am genuinely angry that I tried this place and threw most of it away and am now still hungry.
This was by far the worst fish and chips I’ve ever had, am 43 and love fish and chips to, not very often I right reviews but this needs it, please if you read this stay away. I shucked it in the bin and went butchers up the road. The lady behind the till was lovely, good service with a smile. Food was stail and tasted off oil. Needs shutting down
Disgusting! Battered sausage looked like it was a week old. I took one bite and threw it away. Pie and chips looked like they'd been kept warm since yesterday. A complete waste of money and time.
Nice staff and delicious fish and chips. Prices very good too.

Always call in for a kebab if near we live in Wakefield but nobody round us are as good if you do get one there big enough to share
Slightly over priced compared to other local fish shops, chips were hard, fish very small (ordered large), batter was horrendous.. thick batter and over cooked dry fish.. would definitely recommend using other local fish shops. Unfortunately this will be my first and last time.
The kebab was nice the chicken was very nice best chicken had for ages only thing was not good was the chill sance did not taste like chill sance not sure what it was
