   Absolutely Terrible! 0 Stars – Stay Away! Beware! This place is a total scam. The photos shown on the website that make it look inviting are all fake! After a long wait, we finally arrived, only to find that nothing was as promised. Let’s start with the condition of the room: It was absolutely disgusting. The carpet in the stairways and throughout the building was filthy and worn down, as if it hadn’t been cleaned in years. The place looked like it hadn’t been maintained in over 100 years. The room itself was no better – it seemed like a mishmash of old, broken furniture and junk. Everything was crooked, damaged, or simply in poor condition. It was awful. The bathroom was equally nightmarish. It was dirty, the toilet was revolting, and it reeked. The fixtures were old and worn out, and there was no sign that anyone cared about cleaning. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the Wi-Fi didn’t work at all. We couldn’t access any messages or use the internet – completely unacceptable. Another huge issue was the bed linens. We couldn’t be sure if they were actually fresh, and we didn’t even want to check closely for fear of bedbugs or other unpleasant surprises. It was just disgusting. The kitchenware in the small kitchenette was in terrible condition. Everything was dirty, the kettle and stove were covered in grime, and it was honestly repulsive. As if that wasn’t enough, there were exposed, broken electrical wires lying around, which was not only gross but also extremely dangerous. The lightbulbs were also broken, making the place even less safe. The worst part was the feeling of insecurity throughout our stay. We had no idea if anyone else could enter our room using the same PIN code. It was unsettling and we never felt safe during our stay. The only positive aspect of this place was its location – but even that couldn’t redeem this disastrous experience. This accommodation should be removed from any listings. A hostel should at least offer a basic standard of cleanliness and safety, but this place was a total dump. It was the worst place we’ve ever stayed in, and we strongly advise anyone to stay far away from it.

   4 the price i would not be alarmed of the location. It gave me a possibility to see and explore more. Remember its a hostel and not a five star Hotel. I sleeped good in the beds and liked my room, and the host is cool and sweet. Remember call the host of the hostel 1 hour before your arrival..!

   Is there an option for zero stars? This was the worst experience I've ever had traveling. The owner came into my room while I was out and moved all my things into a closet of a room. I paid for a triple room with a kitchenette and after one night he moved my things in garbage bags to a closet with two single beds and nothing else. I was tempted to call the police. It felt so violating. Please for the love of God don't stay here. There were two other people in the lobby with problems too. The owner was trying to tell them this was not Hostel 7. Please stay away from this place.

   Very bad service and place. Rooms and restrooms are dirty. Internet wifi always doesn't work. You can stay here if you concern only cheap price. There is no sign to let you know where is this hostel but you can see house no.7. When my friend and I arrived there at 9pm (because our flight was delayed), we called to this hostel and no one answered. Then we sent them several messages about 1 hour until someone answered. The lady came to open the door and spoke very rude to us before showing our room. We booked a twin room but then this lady said one of our bed was broken so she arranged 2 separate rooms for us. My friend just wanna see my room so she followed us but the lady told my friend very rude that she couldn't stay with me. My friend said she just wanna see the room but the lady still spoke very rude to her. She also spoke very very rude to other guests as well. We have talked to other guests and they all said this lady was very rude and this hostel is very HORRIBLE.

   Pros: Good location in London Was clearly once a very nice house Front door and room door use codes rather than keys. Reasonable price Cons: No hot water Dirty Moldy Torn wall paper Smells funny The fire alarm keeps going off No sign outside No sign or interaction from manger just the cleaner. Nothing like the pictures. Some people never got their reservation because the place was over booked no refund from the owner. But if you don’t mind very basic service and stay then it’s an ok place to stay. It’s location in London is fantastic.

   This hostel, build in 1985, is one great adventure. You'll have to search for a shower with hot water, so if you find one it's feels like a fantastic achievement. It's also a fun puzzle to try to turn the oven on. When we were baking pizza in the oven, we accidentally also turned on the furnace. Because there was a pizza box on the furnace the fire alarm went off... Oops! Lucky there is a sweet lady to help you through this adventure. Our toilet for example had no toilet paper but when we mentioned this we got it the same day! So if you manage to actually get in this hostel you'll get great service. Furthermore, the location and pricing is excellent. 3/5 would recommend for adventurous people.

   The place is at a very good location and the conditions (rooms, toilet, tidiness, etc) are not great but not that bad. Yet, nobody is around to help around. If you try contacting them at the number they provide, they will not answer. It is hard to find the place, as there is no sign at the door. I am not surprised to read the review of the lady that was left out in the cold with her children. We were very lucky to get someone to open the door for us. This place REALLY NEEDS to have someone to answer the phone and is around in case someone needs something. I also wanted to see if I could leave my luggage after checking out (as you can do in other hostels) and it was impossible to contact anyone. I had to carry my luggage all across London for almost a whole day. Summary, regular hostel with terrible service.
