9/10 visits I've had a problem here, either having items missing after being told everything is there, I've been told to collect when they don't have prescription avaliable, and when I've been given a prescription back to collect it elsewhere they haven't released it. Dead eyed unhelpful staff tripping over each other every time I'm there
Having finished shopping at 8:32 pm on 1/4/2025 I walked over to the Bidston tesco in store pharmacy. I asked for over the counter anti sickness tablets. The male assistant walked over to the anti sickness tablets and then turned and said that they hadn't any. Bemused I asked if they had Kwells or something like it as at this point I could actually see them, and was told that he couldn't sell them to me. I asked why and he said the pharmacist said he couldn't sell them to me. I asked if I could talk to the pharmacist and as she came forward she informed me in a brusque manner that by law she couldn't sell them to me. At no point in the conversation did she ask me why I wanted them, and at no point did she explain other than to say that because I'd asked for anti sickness tablets, it was against the law to sell them to me. So I asked her if I asked for them by the correct name could I get them and she said no. I am utterly shocked, pharmacist are supposedly able to give advice on medication and health issues, this woman had no concern whatsoever for me. She really seemed to be on a power trip, obstructive and unhelpful. All because I said anti sickness tablets because I couldn't remember the correct name.
Most of the staffs attitude absolutely stinks i have just came out of a doctors appointment with my very poorly son he needed medication we left the doctors head to tesco to pick his prescription up to get told " it won't be ready until tomorrow when I told her he's poorly and the doctor said he needs to start it soon as her response was " WELL HE CANT JUST JUMP THE CUE" she wasnt concerned that the doctor told me to collect and start his medication straight away she's going to end up killing someone one day by making poorly people who's just walked out the doctors and been giving a prescription waiting until she's ready absolutely jokes she needs to watch her tone and how she responds to people too
The lady i spoke to on the phone had a terrible attitude towards me for no reason from the second sge aswered the phone and was basically calling me a liar saying the ointment i wanted to buy is prescripton only when it says on line that its an over counter ointment terrible service .and im appalled with her attitude ..
Was very disappointed with the service of the Pharmacy at Tescos Bidston. So rude! When requesting a prescription was told 'don't know anything about it you will have to speak to him' and she just turned around and walked off! Then I spoke to whom I presume was the chemist and he went to the computer then the rude woman who had spoken to me earlier came over and said 'he hasn't dealt with it yet, go and sit down and wait! So I enquired if I could instead do some shopping whilst waiting to which the reply was 'do what you want!'
Attended for booked flu jab at 9am 3rd January only to be met by puzzled pharmacy assistant who stated there is nobody available to deliver vaccines today. 20 mile round trip @£10 for petrol. Put dog in day care £25 plus opportunity to get another appointment at risk to my health!!! Maybe not pharmacies fault maybe central system fault.
Absolutely no customer service and would not recommend this pharmacy service very unprofessional and should not be in patient care sector
Very rude don’t cross them never talked to before like they do , go to Asda or local shop phoned Tesco to complain all I got was “what do you want to happen “ change from a bad attitude to happy friendly, happy to help . But to much to ask that
Inside the superstore so it is very convenient to use and longer opening hours than smaller pharmacists. Very friendly and helpful staff too.
Unfriendry rude and useless.Never come across a Pharmacy like it .Dont even deserve one Star
