   Very slow, cramped as so many people waiting . A few weeks ago I sßtood outside in the cold for half an hour only to be told my script was out of stock. Had to go to out of hours for heart medication.

   I find all the staff very friendly and to be honest I can't understand how they stay so polite considering the abuse they get from some customers. The pharmacists role has also expanded and they are now doing consultations with patients which is taking up time that they could be preparing prescriptions. People need to realise that this pharmacy was normally dealing with the prescriptions from their nearby GPS. Now 3 pharmacies have closed all around the same time so their workload has quadrupled. I've noticed they are getting busier but I try to allow them time to get the medication ready. They, unlike others are dependent on at least 5 suppliers so they are at the mercy of the deliveries. Yes, I admit mistakes happen but they do their best to sort it out. If 3 gp surgeries closed and all the patients came to mine I would find it impossible to get an appointment. It's a similar situation. Please consider the staff who do need a break or lunch but at least they stay open unlike others. I am not a pharmacist or even a sales person but I am a retired nurse and disabled who needs multiple medications but I can see this situation from both sides. They are human beings doing an impossible job. Have some patience please or go elsewhere if you are not happy !
