   Been going to Chickanos for a few years now. Always order big as take the kids and never had any problems other than possible toilets out of order. Food is lovely chicken great seasonings tasty and the bread always lovely and soft. Yesterday I had the new loaded fries too and I thought it was a, meal it was that big. Absolutely spot on. Decent lads behind counter too.

   Food was not warm, also tasteless. Cheese wasn’t melted properly as if they just slammed it between the burger. Chips were cold. Tables dirty with food which makes me question the hygiene about the food too, would not trust them with preparing my food. Even the door is functioning properly. Staff members unprofessionally laughing. Overpriced, was recommended by someone but ended up disappointed. Highly NOT recommended and felt like I got ripped off. If there was a button for 0 stars, I would definitely click it. A place like fish and chips is better than this.

   Last few times ordered from chickanos they have got our order wrong. Today we ordered chicken tenders and surprise surprise we get chicken wings. Since my son does not eat wings, I had to go to the store to get the correct item, which caused inconvenience, delayed our meal and other food getting cold. management need to ensure staff are properly trained and attentive to orders. One of is okay but this is a regular occurrence.

   Ordered a meal went to collect gave my fries to another customer and made me wait 10 mins more. The food was cold and stale. This shouldnt be served to customers. Absolute horric experience. Would NOT recommend.

   I went there the other day and the staff are super nice and friendly, the cleanliness of the area was not an issue. I ordered the buffalo ranch meal the BBQ buffalo ranch burger was really juicy and had many flavours, and the chips were super crispy and nice. However the Korean burger meal was good but not as good as the Buffalo ranch burger, the Korean burger lacked some flavours and the chips were not good for that price as I was expecting the chips to feature more like premium, the food size overall for both meals were small for that price.

   Visited yesterday evening and ordered 2 Mexicano Burger Meals. Food is always tasty but staff are unprofessional & aren’t very friendly. Also they don’t seem to feel the need to tell their customers that they charge 35p extra if you choose Rubicon Mango drink with your meal. Luckily I noticed the extra charge before I was about to tap my card & managed to swap my drink to one that was included in my meal. It’s funny how They advertise a drink included in most of their meals but yet add on charges for drinks without even making you aware first.The manager happened to be near the till and I asked what the reason was for charging extra for this particular drink & he couldn’t give me a straight up answer and shrugged his shoulders & laughed when I said I’d like to change my drink. Overall decent food but very overpriced!

   Asked for a big stack.. paid for it, waited awhile for to be done, gave me a burger nothing like the big stack.. told me they don’t do the big stack anymore… so they gave me what “they”thought would be acceptable. Have it or leave it kind of attitude.

   We arrived late to Huddersfield, decided to try Chikanos, firstly the people in Huddersfield are just the kindest, very friendly, welcoming, the staff were lovely, helped us with the menu as we weren't too sure on what flavoured chicken to get. The chicken was lovely and tender, full of flavour, we ordered fries but they also gave us rice and a very lovely salad, the best gherkins I have tasted. Food was delicious, nice clean spacious seating area, however we decided to take it back to our hotel as it was late. Great service. Visited on Saturday 26.11.22. Would visit again
