“Had a bottomless brunch, unfortunately had a nightmare in the kitchen, so we couldn’t have food but they let us know before arriving so we ate beforehand. This did not stop us having a fantastic time, Jamal treated us amazingly, we asked to move to a warmer table, asked him to take pictures for us and a bunch of other awkward little things that he accommodated for. When he had important paperwork to do we had Courtney take over who was also really accommodating and recommended some drinks for us to have given our tastes so far. Easily the most enjoyable bottomless we’ve had. Would absolutely come again given these two were our servers, if I could give more than 5 stars I would!!”

“Been going to Chickanos for a few years now. Always order big as take the kids and never had any problems other than possible toilets out of order. Food is lovely chicken great seasonings tasty and the bread always lovely and soft. Yesterday I had the new loaded fries too and I thought it was a, meal it was that big. Absolutely spot on. Decent lads behind counter too.”

“Tucked away in the back streets of Huddersfield - what a surprise. Delightful outside and tastefully decorated inside, my photos don't do it justice. The staff were excellent, friendly, welcoming and very efficient. My friend and I had a two course Christmas lunch. Beautifully presented, not as good to eat. The roast potatoes weren't crispy, the sausage in the pig in blanket wasn't very nice and the stuffing was typically 'Paxo' but the greens, mash, turkey and gravy were lovely. The Christmas pudding also wasn't to my taste, huge lumps of fruit with nuts on the outer rim, quite nasty, my friend however enjoyed it. Just shows its all a matter of taste.”

“Lovely place, the staff were super attentive and the food was delicious.... My partner has one of the specials, spinach and pumpkin burger, which she adored. I had chicken and chips, it had some French sounding name that I can't remember for the life of me, but it was outstanding. The atmosphere was very calm and professional, we felt relaxed and kind of at home. I highly recommend this place, I would bet that lots of people come here for dates. “An AMAZING place. The atmosphere is so chilled and so cool. The bar is small and humble but hey don’t mess about with the Ales; lots of local brews to pass many hours! The cocktail list is extensive, varied with classics and new recipes and are fairly cheap but excellent all across the board. The pizzas are incredible. For the value they are the best pizza in town; all veggie options, you choose 3 toppings then anything else is extra. Fully recommend Hummus on the pizza. Bar Maroc is a place to go on all occasions and energy levels; want an ale? want a night out? Want to simply sit with a brew and read? All is possible at all times and all are welcome. The bar below ‘Small Seeds’ (see photo of ‘The Good Earth Collective’ playing, attached) is brilliantly and wonderfully decorated. Drinks and pizzas available down here from the same owners as upstairs. Great live music venue and great music there after.”

“I had the masala fish on naan from Flavaz last night, and it was absolutely spot on! The fish was perfectly cooked - crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful on the inside - and the masala had just the right amount of spice. The naan was soft, fresh, and soaked up all the flavors beautifully. Everything was served hot and fresh, and the portion size was really generous too. Definitely one of the best takeaway meals I’ve had in a while - I’ll be going back for this again soon!”

“The team accommodated a large party with only a weeks notice and no deposit. We had plenty of space, the staff were quick and friendly, and somehow all 16 mains came out within 5 minutes of each other! We all loved our main meals. I had the mussels and the sauce they were served with was incredible. We had mixed reviews on the desserts, but honestly that wouldn't stop any of us booking again. We all loved it!”

“Stopped for lunch with Three-year-old daughter and my wife. Not only was the food lovely, but our server Leah could not have been more accommodating to our young one. Brought a few small toys over and some colouring to keep her occupied and spoke really nicely to her. Daughter went chasing her to show off her colouring she liked her that much. Thank you Leah, not only for the sublime food, but for treating my daughter the way you did. We will certainly be back!”
