During my five-year tenure as the initial owner of my flat, I was consistently impressed by its exceptional specifications and the high-quality Bosch appliances that came with the flat. These appliances operated flawlessly throughout my stay at Cambium, without any significant issues. The neighbouring residents are also exemplary and have not raised any complaints. However, the primary drawback of living in this property lies with the management company, FirstPort, which was responsible for overseeing Cambium Apartments. They imposed an annual fee exceeding Β£5000+, yet communication with the site manager was virtually nonexistent, except in cases requiring payment-related matters. Despite the management companyβs prompt response to emails and their willingness to issue warnings or demands for payment in the event of missed payments, their lack of transparency and responsiveness was a persistent issue for non-payment related issues. Even during the process of selling my flat, my solicitor informed me that FirstPort delayed providing the necessary documents for several weeks, despite the payment having been made. This underscores the importance of seeking competent solicitors when selling a property. Overall, the area is has a pleasant atmosphere and high level of safety, with the exception of incidents involving young adults engaging in tailgating and stealing packages from the mailbox, which can be seen from the glass door entrance. It is unfortunate that I would avoid buying a flat from Cambium solely due to FirstPort. Should the current management have been replaced, I would totally recommend living here. Conversely, I would strongly advise against living in this property under the current management.

Brand new property built with medium quality materials. Depending on the location of the apartment, it can be quite noisy. Not too bad value for the money, but I can't keep the window open at most times because of the several source of noise: planes, cars, alarms (ever hour or so), motors, never ending maintenance... And the way balconies are built is a joke. (Someone can pour water from the above floor on to your laptop anytime)

The show house alarm goes off regularly, recently for three days in a row without anyone from the estate management bothering to turn it off. It is infuriating for us living next door, so I can only imagine what it's like for people living in the estate itself.
