   One hellish of a 1st month rent. I'd steer very clear if you value your sanity. Just as several other commentors stated, they'll try their best to keep you in the dark regarding other flatmates shady characters that could land you disputing over in court.

   Rats, Coackcroachs, leaking roof... Ana is not lying Mr Alba. Facts that what it is. I know you aren't in this manager position since a long time. Your job is to manage not to spread white lies, I'm sure you understanding the meaning of what I m saying here. Don't ask to your tenants to vacate their room under falses pretences. I am sure we understand each other on this point.

   Taking Legal Action Review your lease, consult and attorney and contact your local health department. Seek to have the health department conduct an examination that will classify the property as infested. Most counties have resources where you can get free legal help from law students or volunteer attorneys if you cannot afford to pay. Take the record you prepared in with you to your meeting. Contact your local health department and ask it to do an inspection. The inspection will also serve as evidence that your landlord, not you, broke the lease by providing an unsafe environment should he sue you.

   Run away. AB-Flatmate relocated me because the first room i had booked actually needed "reparation, maintenance and renovation". I ended up paying +40£ /month for another room in a complete different area. 1- After one month, I realize there are COCKROACHES everywhere in the house. The "pest control" came but didn't do the work efficiently. It has been two weeks that my four roomates and I have to "deal" with them. The agency didn't offer other solutions in the meantime, no sprays, no bugs stickers, nothing, just "deal with it". 2- There's a leak in my room, when it rains, water comes in. It has been 10days that I reached their "handyman", no answers, no solutions. A friend of mine had issues and left her room after one month. Two of my roomates leave the house before the end of the month. (They are not leaving because of me but because of the bugs lol). Check other reviews and expect what you read. Run away You will find cheaper options anywhere else.

   I have been a tenant with AB Flatmate for over a year. The agency presents everything very well but when you get in you find you're living with some unusual tenants. They don't check people's backgrounds so nobody is screened. I'm living with some polish junkies now and the house smells like weed every night. Repairs never seem to stop and they have their handy men who do a minimal fix. You report the same problem in 2 weeks. Nobody cleans or observes any cleaning plan.
