Shakil and Tracy in particular, were very professional and responsible, ensuring everything was handled smoothly. They are very caring and willing to go an extra mile to find a perfect solution.    I am living at one of the properties managed by Wentworth Property since 2018. Now you can understand why I have been living here since so long and did not consider to change, that's because the excellent services provided by them. The management is thorough professional and friendly. They take all complaints seriously and fix it quickly. They just do not do business but make you feel the place you are living in as your home. I will highly recommend them.

   I was due to rent a property with Shakil Shahid from Wentworth Properties. We had agreed and shook hands at the property and I had been asked to send over the holding deposit. When I emailed for the details he had then asked if I could pay 3 months rent in advance (something we discussed twice during the viewing and came to an agreement on) but due to my house recently burning down I lack funds and am receiving support from the Gov. which Shakil Shahid was aware of and okay with but did say during the viewing that he was weary of low-income people because they can be dirty, unruly and not pay their rent. Since asking for the 3 months advance rent Shakil Shahid has completely ignored all of my calls & texts. Update: since this exchange Wentworth Properties are blatantly lying and trying to say they didn’t discriminate, or offer me the property and that it’s because the market is so busy even though he had asked me to send the holding deposit and told me I could rent it. They also lied and said I only earned around £1,500, this is false as I own a growing small business and earn over £2,500- I just needed someone with some human decency to allow me to rent while partly using government support until I find my feet again after my house burnt down but the team at Wentworth properties can’t even provide that which tells me they would be abysmal landlords without a duty of care or even empathy. They have also shown to not hold up to commitments and string people along. The one time I did get through he gave me the idea I was still renting the property and asked me to get information from the council but 2 hours later it was taken off the market so I believe he was just stalling for time and sending me on a search just to waste my time. This exchange has shown me that Shakil Shahid operates under malpractice, is unprofessional and does not hold to his commitments to tenants but rather lies to them and strings them along. Due to his comments on people on housing benefit, the lack of communication and malpractice I believe he has rescinded his offer to me because of this fact. Due to legislation changes this is unlawful discrimination and I will be contacting The Property Redress Scheme. I would not recommend renting from Shakil Shahid.
