   We are soon moving to the area (just around the corner in fact) so have recently tried food on 3 occasions and not been disappointed in the slightest. Steak night on a wednesday was such good value. The sunday lunch was just what the doctor ordered and the small plates on a lunch time soo good!!! Can't wait to get moved!!!

   The last time I went here was for a fimly meal. Food was just about edible. Everything that was ordered was swimming in whatever oil they cooked it in. The amount of food that was un eaten was mind blowing. If I was the chef when I saw the food coming back uneaten I would have gone out and spoke to the customers to find out what was wrong. I'd never go back for food.

   The best Sunday dinner you will find! Tender meat served with homemade Yorkshire pudding, crispy roast potatoes, mash & gravy. Selection of steamed veg and a plate of the most wonderful roasted veg arrive separately. All the staff are friendly, work hard and nothing is too much trouble. Quick service too…You will not be disappointed!

   Very nice place. Good atmosphere and helpful staff. Really good food and a decent range of dishes. The belly pork was a big piece for a starter, the burger was very tasty, proper bacon and crispy onions.

   When here for lunch.lovely clean place in side.Staff very friendly.Food was delicious very well presented.Would definitely go back Not a bad price . we had Chicken in flat bread and my friend had crab on flat bread.

   Excellent service and food, good beer.. was passing through Howden looking for a place to late lunch (most places close between 2 & 5pm), found Bishops Bistro.. had camembert to start which was delicious and sticky salmon noodles for main, which were cooked to perfection. Blondie for dessert (white choc brownie) - again delicious and all made fresh in house. Would highly recommend, reasonably priced considering the quality of food.
