Without doubt the best cinema I’ve ever been to, absolutely gutted it’s not my local. Bar the BFI IMAX it’s easily the best IMAX screen I’ve been to with comfortable seating, generous leg room and a giant screen and speaker set up. It’s out of the way for me but whenever I watch films in IMAX I make the 1 hour journey to this cinema. Regular screens are solid as well, especially with the new recliners. Only slight improvement I’d make is binning the screen x and converting it to a 4dx screen. The South Ruislip Cineworld could take notes from here.

Good movie. Food dreadful - I wouldn’t mind overpriced food if it was half decent. Hot dog all soggy., probably day around for hours. Place was a mess even though empty. This mess was on the floor before we went in and was still there when the movie finished, 2 hours later. Wow.

The new recliner seats are incredibly comfortable and are going to make me come here more often! Small little thing though. I saw 4 employees in the main area and lots of customers in a queue but only one till open. Would be nice if more tills were opened when queues form. Especially during movies with intermissions (kill bill for example) so we can quickly grab some snacks. But I guess intermissions are rare so understandable that it's not something you have to deal with all the time

By far this Cinema offers the best seats in the U.K. The Zero Gravity recliner seats are so comfortable and they enhance the movie experience. Also tables are provided with the recliner chairs as well. Screen X is amazing as well, the experience is really immersive and it was amazing being surrounded by three screens. The sound and temperature in the auditorium were perfect. I would highly recommend the Screen X experience with the Zero Gravity recliner seats. The Cinema is really modern and cool. This Cinema also offers IMAX as well. This Cinema is located in The Harlequin Shopping Centre(Charter Palace) in Watford Town Centre. There are loads of restaurants nearby to choose from such as Yo! Sushi,TGI Fridays and Popeyes. This is my favourite Cinema in the U.K.

Cineworld Watford now has Zero G recliner seats with a table, in all the non 4DX auditoriums, this improves the experience immeasurably, it's amazing. Cineworld Watford is newly fitted out so it feels new and fresh.. Presently we drive past our own Cineworld in Stevenage to go to Watford, a 35 mile odd round trip, as opposed to a 2 mile trip because it's like chalk and cheese, Stevenage is old and tired. Recommended.

The screen x or extreme screen experience was terrible. It's not a real extreme screen. It's a small square screen with two side projections on the wall which turn on for some action scenes. They are inconsistent and during some scenes they were out of synch with the main central screen. They were also skewed and out of focus and extremely distracting and disorienting. To accommodate for this it felt like some scenes were possibly panned left or right which meant the framing of shots was also not properly centered making the scenes even more disorienting. Movement on the left wall or right wall was very distracting. I would avoid the screen x experience completely at this cinema. I've been to real extreme screens and this is a fake gimmick. A cheap money grab. The rest of the cinema experience was fine. I was just really disappointed and feel that whoever decided this screening method was viable should really ask for professional help.

All was fine with the movie but it's their seats which I am giving the three star rating. They were really uncomfortable, we had to seat in such an awkward position we were left with sore necks. I wouldn't return to this cinema unless the seats are replaced. The convenience of the location isn't worth it because you can not enjoy the film as you should, when you are too busy trying to find a comfortable way to sit and keep the reclining position in place.

A pretty good IMAX cinema which is clean, massive screen and has good availability for the big films! However... I would adjust the central focus of the audio as it seems to be too far back in the field which means some of the speech muffles out when there is more surrounding audio. Turn up the centre speakers (basically)! I've experienced this in the past 3 visits. If this changes I'd give this cinema 5 stars.

One of the nicest IMAX laser scenes outside of London. Fantastic screen size with IMAX Laser 1.90:1 aspect ratio

Screen 7 room pretty small but seats comfortable. Watched a 2 hour movie and I was fine. Guess you get the benefit of a more intimate viewing experience. Looking forward to trying out the big IMAX screens. Staff friendly.
