   Fantastic spot for Friday lunch - ample parking, large menu, kind staff, and great tasting food. We had the halloumi small plate starter, the chicken burger and seafood basket for mains, and sticky toffee pudding and caramel brownie for dessert with an illy americano. All superb! Oh and be sure to get a side of curry sauce for your chips: fresh made! We will return as every dish brought out by the kitchen looked delicious. Looking forward to steak night and Sunday roast here!

   Wonderfully welcoming pub with fantastic staff that truly went the extra mile. We visited here as a group of 8 for my mother in laws birthday and the staff were so great with the children and let us bring in our own birthday cake. No rushing us from our table when we finished, it was very relaxed. The food was also amazing, especially the steak pie that I had! We will definitely be back in the future.

   We called in for lunch after visiting gear4music. There was an excellent choice of beers lager and cider including hand pulled cask conditioned real ales which were excellent when we visited. The food was top-notch and very filling. There's a nice outside seating area in the pub garden and plenty of parking we will definitely be returning.

   Clifton Moor and Rawcliffes premier Pub that affords Bistro standard food. Sports screens show all popular sports, beer garden at the rear offers good seating areas for families and areas reserved just for adults and non smokers. Various meal deals: Wednesday Steak nights for example and Thursday quiz nights are popular and well attended One of Yorks best out of town pubs

   Really good quality food, well presented establishment and pleasant service. Parking was limited but manageable, play area was fantastic, it's getting harder to find pubs with something for kids to do! The exterior and interior are really well maintained (nothing dusty inside and well maintained borders and grass outside). Food was tasty but we left a little hungry for the price, even after a dessert and it would have been nice to see some greens on the kids plates

   We had a short visit as we were staying in Flaxton so took the kids here to play while we had a couple of drinks. Kids seemed to enjoy it so that makes a difference. I didnt go inside as I had the dog with us so hubby got the drinks. Nice beer garden and kids play area so can only give 5 stars on that basis.
