Great place for comfort and a good environment. I will say I special thank you to Nathan, who provided an excellent service for me and my partner, from start to finish made sure we were looked after and happy. I will definitely be going back!

Had an amazing experience at Oxted Everyman on Friday night for the opening night of Wicked. Mandy (in the green top) was a fabulous friendly front of house and Maddy W was our excellent server. Thank you for a brilliant experience for my daughter’s birthday

We had the most incredible time seeing Wicked: For Good. We were blown away by the film, but all of the staff were just wonderful. Mandy was our hero, we love her, she’s such an asset. We also loved Maddy W. I really liked the guy who served me, I can’t remember his name (dark hair). All round fabulous!

Lovely place, can't believe I've never been here before. Booked a couple of silver screen tickets which included a drink and cake. The cinema was very comfy with a choice of a double sofa or armchair. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back. The carrot cake was delicious. We turned up early as we didn't want to risk our train being late, it was nice to have a comfy place for food and drinks beforehand.

A Cinema That Forgets What Cinema Is As a film critic and lifelong cinephile, I found my recent visit to the Everyman Cinema in Oxted profoundly disappointing. The venue markets itself as a premium experience, but the reality is an awkward hybrid of cocktail bar and screening room β€” a space that prioritises food, drink, and Instagram aesthetics over the art of film. Inside the auditorium, there are no traditional seats β€” only double sofas with side tables and lamps, clearly designed for eating and drinking rather than attentive viewing. The constant distraction of service, the clinking of glasses, and the social atmosphere make genuine immersion near-impossible. Before the screening, a young staff member stood up and asked, β€œIs everybody having a good time?” β€” a tone-deaf gesture that might suit a themed bingo night, but feels absurd in the context of serious cinema. His attempt to create a sense of occasion only highlighted how little the venue understands about the cultural experience it’s selling. Worst of all, the sound levels were painfully loud β€” an elementary failure in a setting that claims to elevate the filmgoing experience. A Β£16 ticket and Β£10 glass of subpar Cava only compounded the sense of style over substance. The Everyman concept may appeal to those seeking a night out with a film in the background β€” but for those who value cinema as an art form, this isn’t the place. It’s time we asked more of these spaces, not just for the sake of the audience, but for the sake of the films themselves.

This place seems to work well and the idea of sofas sound really good but they aren't always as comfy as you'd imagine and leg room can be limited. The tables are too small for food as well.. that said I like the vibe of this place and staff were really helpful.

I stopped going to cinema years ago because I stopped enjoying the experience. When The Joker came out I really wanted to see it and my girlfriend remembered the Everyman was just a short drive away. We now go there probably 3-4 times a month! A great comfy cinema that doesn't have kids running up and down the aisles and rarely has people talking through the movies. Plus nice food and drink.

Everyman Cinema, Oxsted. Avatar 2, perfect place to watch this epic movie. Venue and staff were brilliant and food was delicious. Will definitely visit again.

Really enjoy coming to this cinema. It is a bit more expensive but it's worth it in my opinion if you don't go to the cinema regularly. The sofas are so comfortable, the food and drinks are great and the staff are so so lovely too, will definitely be coming back

Lovely venue in a picturesque town. The cinema has a lovely feel about it, with a welcoming and warm lobby area. The food is top notch that includes catering for people with dietary requirements. The screen I visited was nice, clean and comfortable. The staff had incredible customer service skills and I genuinely could find nothing to fault.
