Overrated, overpriced, very dirty cinema, stinky carpet, damaged screen, screen not HD (my TV shows much better colors), ripped chairs. The sound system is as bad as hell. If someone is eating next to you, it's a struggle to enjoy the movie due to the wrapping noise and the chewing of the person next to you. For Β£8, you can buy a ticket in the West End. And don't say anything... there are some apps where you can get tickets for Β£5.99. If you want to spoil your movie, this is the right place to go.

Fantastic in terms of affordability and staff are lovely. Long live Peckhamplex! However the smell of old furnishings that haven’t been cleaned is a bit much. Could really do with some deep cleaning and fresh air (somehow).

Frankly the best independent cinema in London! Privately owned by a very conscientious and community driven owner who keeps ticket prices low and affordable. Carpets could do with a clean, but other than that, this cinema RULES!!

4 stars for tickets prices that are convenient. If you don't have big expectations, it is a good place to watch movies! They could refurbish a bit the rooms. Bar service food and drinks available at the entrance

Didn't go to the actual cinema perplex but to the car park that has been turned into an arts performing centre known as Peckham Levels funded by Bold Tendencies. Its the fourth time I have been here and its a brilliant experience. The most recent one was seeing the LSO perform (the string part ) and it was absolutely fabulous. As its basically a disused multi storey car park it's only open from May to September but its so quirky and delivers a great experience.

The doors were easy to open. The corridor were brightly lit, so I knew where I was going. The staff helped toward the right door. There was a huge screen behind that door, like a giant TV. I saw a movie and had a beer. It's a cinema all right. Lovely one. Go and see :)

Went there for Mountview presentation of graduation. They went all out to make it an enjoyable event especially for the graduates with photos of the last years activities of students. The only negative is the seats could really do with an upgrade.

Listen, this isn't a luxury odeon, but the tickets are Β£4.99 so how could you say no. Definitely avoid seeing a film on the first opening weekend or two because it'll be rammed beyond belief, but after that you'll pretty much have the screen all to yourself. They might forget to turn the lights down tho which happens sometimes, but it's a good laugh and we love our local cinema and everyone who works in it.

It has a nice atmosphere. The checking in process was a bit confusing and redundant, as we had to go to the main cashier to get our tickets validated, then go to another person to actually gain access to the cinema. Would've thought they'd just have a handheld scanner. Also the price of a big bucket of popcorn seems a bit big, Β£6.30. Apart from these, the overall experience was nice and I'll be coming back soon.

Great independence cinema with nice price of ticket Β£4.99 (you can book online or book from ticket machine in front) everyday, not fixed seat so you can sit anywhere. You can get popcorn at good price. Advertisement is around 15-20 minutes. Only been here to see 2 films and experiences are different. First one, I went to see 007 on weekdays, it was lovely with all audiences being respectful as usual. Secondly, I went to see Batman on the weekend and most audiences (like more half of them) brought their own bag of snacks which made noise throughout the films. Please don’t bring something that make noise since this isn’t your home theatre. Not sure if it’s common here or just this groups or just on weekends. Besides that the staff is nice and overall is clean, but just don’t hold high expectation and you’ll be fine. Great place to catch the film at cheap price.
