Came into the store for some advice about my dog, but was made to feel completely stupid by an older woman called Claire - not helpful and very belittling. Very greatful for the younger staff as they told me step by step what to do, but I would not return again based on the bad experience I had with the older woman. Avoid.
Shop is well lit and well stocked but the staff couldn't give a fig. No help or advice offered, just sat on their phones at the checkout.

I just wanted to extend my most sincere gratitude to Pets at Home staff Molly and Dave at the Lichfield store for their support and kindness in helping me set up the pets at home app and also helping get the various quite heavy food products bought for the cat and dog out to the car on the afternoon of 19 July this year. They both were incredibly helpful and kind in spending several minutes helping me with this when i was struggling with it. I had a really positive experience today at Pets at Home Lichfield. I went in to buy some tropical fish and was helped by a staff member who had a professional appearance but also showed subtle signs of support for inclusivity and diversity. It made the environment feel warm, welcoming, and very much at ease. Their knowledge about the fish I was interested in was excellent, and they shared some genuinely helpful advice that I appreciated. As someone with ADHD and autism, shopping can sometimes feel overwhelming, but today’s experience felt calm, supportive, and without any pressure. I left feeling pleased, comfortable, and excited to return in the future for more tropical fish. A genuinely great visit.
This is a wonderful place with a wonderful person whose name I can’t remember I think it was something like Charlie? I went in to adopt a hamster from the adoption section and I met a little lad called “dusty” or as “charlie?” called him: chunkasaurus! She went through everything with me and made sure I understood everything I needed to before he came home with me. She made me feel very welcome by showing me pictures of her own hamsters and allowed me to show her pictures of my cage setup that I was very proud of. She is a great asset to the team and definitely has my stamp of approval. Thank you so much :))

The store is well stocked and set out very well, the staff are helpful and polite and a pleasure to be served by. We had a chat with the receptionist for the vets upstairs and they are so lovely giving lots of advice for our injured cat so I am more than happy to give them 5 stars and a highly recommended! For all your pets needs and advice pets at home and the vets there are brilliant!
Great place to all your pet stuff, I have tropical fish, And I got all of them from here, All the staff are very helpful. Especially two young Ladies in particular, Who have helped me with genrial information, and help.
