Can’t fault hounds at heart at all, my dogs always come out smelling and looking beautiful and always so happy to see the staff. The staff are always so friendly and knowledgeable and are quick to help in any way they can. I would never go anywhere else.

2 months ago I gave a 5 star review for the past few years that we have been coming here but unfortunately, the 5 star was not followed through on my boys latest groom. I have scrolled down to other reviews and found that the one I am about to make is similar to the experience that another customer has experienced. So I booked a groom for my two cockapoo's and to cut the story short I received one of them with 3 issues in which I had to seek immediate veterinary care. He had clipper grazes all over his stomach which I can say sometimes happens but really shouldn't. His lip was lacerated and swollen with blood pouring into his mouth. The third problem was that a skin tag on his face was cut and would not stop bleeding. I understand 'accidents' can happen but not when there not admitted to because then it looks like a welfare issue on behalf of the company. I always state before I give my boys to the groomers an small tailor made groom that I'd prefer and let them be aware of any issues such as skin tags etc. However, the manager just doesn't seem to want to listen she's constantly defensive and on the only two conversations I've had with her over the phone she's actually had the nerve to shout over me which is rude and disgusting behaviour quite threatening too. I've remained calm because two wrongs does not make a right eventhough her groomers have caused a problem. The last conversation which was earlier on today I had to put the phone down as she was quite threatening and aggressive. Anything I have stated she's ignored and chosen parts that of the conversations where she doesn't have to address. Paying back the money for their groom and Junior's vet bill does not justify how you have treated them. Not knowing the state of the animal when you had hand them over back to their owners is very scary because where is the welfare. I shouldn't have had to go back to the car and then to find out all his face was full of blood. I rang as soon as I got back to find the story but nobody knew and from this date I still haven't been told what actually happened. Yes I am now accusing you for thr lack of care of my boy and that his welfare was in no way your priority otherwise I wouldn't have had him back with numerous serious issues. Money has never been an issue with my boys as I used to bring the 3 of them to you for their grooms so paying me back for his vet bill and groom will not nake this problem go away. On many occasions I pay the bill before they are groomed as the trust was there. Also you've caused a traumatic experience for Junior as he wouldn't leave the house for the few days after his groom. Like I said I gave you a 5 star review for the past few years because you were good but the lastest groom was disastrous. I have asked and have still asked why and how this has happened but you have failed to respond. I too have a business and if the customer isn't happy then we work together to find a solution I don't become aggressive and try to hide the issues. I trusted you as groomers and you failed to make my boys welfare as your priority which I can never get over. Price increase I was happy to adhere to, always on time for appointments there had never been any issues up until now. I will never bring my boys here again but I strongly suggest that you make changes to your business that ensure the safety and welfare of all animals. The fact that you can't answer for when something that goes terribly wrong especially to an animal in my case injuries occurred from your building is a serious issue. As you are happy when you take our money but turn unpleasant when things don't go right and then you are confronted. Admitting to your fault is much easier than turing sour especially when there's physical evidence against you. You were brilliant groomers to start with but one bad experience affecting someone's physical being and the treatment has changed that.

Dreadful grooming experience at Rosie's Hounds At Heart, Swinfen, Lichfield. Uneven cut of dogs fur (Not noticed initially), had to drive all the way back to Swinfen for it to be corrected and it's still not really right now either. No apologies whatsoever from staff or "Business Owner". "Business Owner" (as they kept referring to themselves as) refused to give their actual name when I asked for it. I expect better customer service and grooming for £45 so will not be returning or recommending this "Professional" Lichfield dog grooming company at all.

We have recently started taking our dachshund, Olive, to Rosie’s Hounds at Heart. She is extremely nervous when it comes to having her claws done and the girls couldn’t be any kinder and patient with Olive, they treat her like she is one of their own. I always feel comfortable that I am leaving my little girl in caring hands.

We have taken both our dogs to hounds at heart now. It is fantastic we were ask clearly what we wanted and this was followed. The dogs looked great after their grooming and were relaxed and happy. One of our dogs had a bad experience at a previous groomers so we were a little nervous. We need not have been at the staff were amazing. Will be using from now on.

Drove over 80 miles to visit this pet shop which my sister told me was awesome and that I would love it, only to find it closed!!! There was no notice on their website to say they would be closed and in fact Google said it was open. Two ladies inside who basically ignored us, and when I tapped on window to ask if closed all day one grumpily said yes!! So disappointed would have spent a lot of money from what I could have seen through window!! Please please if you must close update your info
