   Came across this place randomly on social media and decided to pay a visit as was in the area. Lovely little tap room, friendly knowledgeable staff, and a nice range of beers on tap. More interesting beers than the now commercial Magic Rock so we'll be back when next in the area for sure. They also have various food pop ups and open deck nights, nice to see some variation. YoYo the beer monkey also enjoyed it so it's five stars from us!

   Called in for a coffee and wasn't disappointed. This place is a quirky place that is obviously known by local residents. It was lovely and busy but we're able to find seats next to the window to watch the world pass by. We'll call in again if in the area. It'll be lovely in warm weather when sitting outside is more comfortable.

   The definition of a hidden gem! This brewery is far enough off the beaten track to deter ale-trailers and wronguns, resulting in a really chilled, family friendly vibe. Alongside their own beers, Zapato serves local independent alcohol, as well as Lancashire squash. The outside seating features tables (some covered) and a large field which leads to a stream, and on a sunny day it's truly idyllic. The indoor seating and bar area has been recently refurbished and is lovely and cosy. Almost every weekend, Zapato hosts a food truck, making it possible to enjoy anything from dumplings to Sri Lankan food via pizzas and Mexican - all a short walk along the canal.

   Great bar next to the Huddersfield canal. Plenty of seating outside some undercover. Great atmosphere inside and great playlist! Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Good choice of there own ales and some guest beers in the fridges. Street food was delicious. Nice clean unisex toilets love the old safe ! Well worth a walk along the canal from Slaithwaite or Marsden.

   A relatively new micro brewery located between Slaithwaite and Marsden, it has an appealing decor and play a selection of chilling background music to suit all tastes. Seating inside is comfortable with a number of picnic style seating outside and it's also pet friendly. Zapato have a varied selection of drinks to choose from, which I believe they produce the beers and ales themselves. Food is fantastic and there have a different style of street food on site every week! A great place to be and look forward to going there again!
