   Visited today and have to say what wonderful staff there is that work here, I was asked if I had a few moments to leave this review but I’m not the greatest with my phone.. so asked if the young gentleman could help.. it was so nice to see people offering to help.. he’s definitely a great member of staff.. all the girls looked happy to be working and the food was incredible! We come twice a week to meet some friends and they even said how lovely the atmosphere was today! Thank you for a great visit and the helping hand

   Jen, Amy and Jack the front staff were excellent and very friendly. Took time out to talk to people, and their friendly nature was excellent. Paul and Jade the chefs made great food and in great time. We have been here many times before and would always recommend this prior to any train journey. They are a great asset to the company .

   Very helpful and attentive staff. Sunday dinner (top side of beef) was very good. Fair priced as would expect from a greenking chain pub. Update march 2023 - equally as nice. Pleasant atmosphere friendly staff decent food. Very good

   Saturday lunchtime and was absolutely packed. Staff member still found us a table promptly. Seemed busy and hectic going to order food but the guy behind the bar was friendly and helpful. Plenty of staff who were all going about their jobs with competence, speed and a smile. Food came quickly, was hot, tasty and filling. Good offers available all week for those on a budget. Only criticism is that drinks of coke come as a standard size (no small, regular or large) which is way too much for me. Just ended up sharing so really wasn't a problem. Will definitely come again next time we are in Doncaster

   Very busy in the afternoon, regardless service is quite quick. Would recommend the sauce to come separately from the main. I had wings with hot hot sauce and they were smothered. I do like spicy that's why I ordered them, but that burned my mouth, couldn't taste anything else.

   9/11/21 Great food and service today, I would say today is the best food I’ve ever had in mallard and all staff are great best line up of staff what mallard as yet as todays staff know what there doing without just walking around like headless chickens. David should be proud of the staff he’s had today, the girls behind the bar work amazing definitely Chloe, I’ve seen staff interact with the deaf community even though the staff don’t know any sign language. Great deals on Tuesday Big Plate Specials £7 #bargain #amazingstaff
