   Superb lunch with 8 friends.Some of us had carvery and some ordered off the main menu it was all excellent.Our servers were attentive and so friendly.We booked again on our way out! First class!

   First meal in there under the new management! Had the Black & Blue Burger, what an amazing combination and different to everywhere else. Partner had the home made Steak & Ale Pie, meat was so tender and nice. Deffo raised the standards. Worth a visit again.

   Great experience. Very dog friendly and good, friendly service. The food was cooked well, nice and generous portions. The Guinness was superb and consistantly poured. Great atmosphere. Also open on a Monday. Fantastic! We all left smiling and full. We will certainly will back soon.

   Seven of us ate in here tonight and the food and drink was spot on! Slight genuine mix up with the bill which was sorted outside the pub with good humour all round. We really enjoyed our evening thank you.

   Went tonight late on. Food was amazing but it was very quiet we got placed next to a group of 4 it felt really intrusive like we were on top of them even though we could have been sat anywhere else. It ruined our night as we could sit a chat.

   Impressed, arrived close to 8pm,when food was about to stop serving.... No problem. Wonderful freshly cooked Fish and Chips and Linguini Chicken and Mushroom. Attentive service..... Great beer. Will definitely come again. These independents are way better than the big chain food pubs. Thank you.

   Lovely inside interior Older lady serving was lovely After she went off serve wasn't as good. Food was OK all the meat was massively over cooked and ordered medium rare was well done. Pepper sauce wasn't tasty. Chips nice. My mum had the beef strips which was nice. Had to go bar too pay :( Nice pint
