Took my granddaughter to see zootropolis last weekend. Great little film but was completely ruined by bad behaviour and poor, lazy parenting. Mobile phones being used, unaccompanied girls climbing over chairs, talking through the movie. Row in front of us was empty but the family in the row Infront of that allowed their toddler to run up and down the empty row and talking loudly. I filled in a feedback on line , have had no response. We enjoy our trips to see films and there are a few we'd like to revisit to see but honestly if this is going to be the norm I'm questioning going again .

While we normally enjoy our experience at Cineworld Basildon, todays visit was terrible, paid £85 (plus the rest with Starbucks etc) so not a cheap visit to watch Wicked 2 in 4DX 3D for my family for it to be ruined by 8 kids ok their phones taking pictures, distracting bright screens, watching socials media videos and no parents to say stop. To my understanding I thought phones should be away and on silent, specially for copyright issues, it was only with 2 minutes left of the film did a member of staff intervene and I'm assuming this was only due to fact they were preparing for the after film cleanup. So annoyed with this experience that I’ve come straight after the film to wrote this review, my kids 14 and 12 are talking about the annoying kids and the fact they couldn't concentrate and off putting as a pose to talking about how they enjoyed the film.

Went to see The Naked Gun (Really enjoyable film and a credit to the originals) we were in screen 6, I'm 6ft tall with long legs, the screen had more than enough leg room to not feel cramped, the seats are comfortable with smoke space for holding drinks etc and i didn't feel cramped into the seat or with those around me. Staff on site were friendly and costs are what you would expect for a trip to the cinema. Thanks for the experience Cineworld, you made an afternoon out with my father a good day to remember.

Watched Avatar 2 in Imax in 3D with my two sons, and we were completely blown away by the audio visual feast for the senses provided. We were completely immersed in and escaped to the world of the film. It did not feel like we'd been seated (in the very comfortable seats) for 3 and a half hours; we were so absorbed. Took our enjoyment and engagement with cinema experience to a whole new and groundbreaking level.

The only problem that me and my pregnant wife had was that the volume of the adverts were too loud that we were worried about it affecting our baby. I mean it was just way too loud. This was in screen 1 for Avatar on imax Thankfully the movies volume was lower. We would not have stayed if it remained too high. Everything else was excellent.

Overall, a memorable experience. Food, drinks and tickets didn't take long getting. We picked outs seats aheat. Cinema itself was nice and comfortable, though the trailers and previews did take quite a long time before our movie started and as I had a train to catch, I missed the last bits and ran late.

Very Good Experience, bit busy over weekends.

From the outside the cinema looks great. But the picture quality of screen 6 is shocking. The screen is huge but the ambient lighting just ruins the movie magic. Looking at each bottom corner of the screen you can see red lights projected on screens that's coming from the stairs. Very annoying also the picture could have been brighter seems too washed out but the sound is excellent.
