My two cats go to Riversmeet and are very well treated. The one cat keeps me going with his health and he is always in safe hands. The team put my mind to rest when I get stress about him.

5* all the way. I have been with Riversmeet for over 20 years, and whilst some of the vets and staff have come and gone (natural, as some have retired), ive never had any issues. Nothing is too much for them. As they have become part of a larger group, yes, prices have gone up, but this is the same as everything else and no different from any other price increases. The reception and admin staff are so kind; shout out to Kat, Jade, and Kim, whose compassion when I have sadly lost my furries has been appreciated, and to Anita, who processed some very large insurance claims super quick. The vets go above and beyond to support. A HUGE shout-out to Lewis. I can't thank you enough for everything that you have done to support Teddy, Minx and Amber with their journeys, and now with Toby. You are a credit to your profession and to the practice. Reading some of the reviews here, there are some negative perspectives, and each is entitled to their own opinions, but they are just that, people's own opinions. If you are looking for vets that put your animals first, no matter what, then go to Riversmeet and make up your own mind. They may not be the cheapest, but you pay for what you get, and my pets deserve it!

When Riversmeet was owned by the vets (Simon and his colleagues) it was a lovely little practice, which you felt had both yours and your loved pets best interests at heart. That changed when Linnaeus (a Mars company) took over. They moved it from being a personal touch to being all about driving profits - unnecessary extra (paid for) visits for βcheckupsβ, patronising attitudes from new vets, increases in costs - all led to us moving vets after 15 years of happy patronage.

Honestly couldnβt ask for a better vets. I have a 7 month old springer spaniel called Molly who is always a dithering wreck by the time we get to the vets (petrified of the car) and the whole staff team make such a fuss of her and treats galore. Iβve met 3 of there vets now and theyβve all been so patient and genuine and answered all my questions with love and kindness. There passion for animals shows and Iβm so pleased I chose rivermeets for Mollys care β€οΈ

My husband and I can't recommend Riversmeet enough. Vet Simona Oprea especially has been brilliant with our dog 4 year old blue merle border collie, Woody. He is a complex & rare case with Systemic Lupus (causing liver issues), immune-mediated thrombocytopenia and steroid induced cushing's (causing hair loss and muscle wastage). She has tried everything and been a great support in his recovery. He is improving everyday with his treatment and we couldn't be more grateful.

Wonderful veterinary practice. Kind vets with different specialists. Lewis is fabulous with poultry and Simon is a lovely ophthalmologist. Reception and veterinary nurses all also friendly and patient. Couldn't recommend this place highly enough in both Tamworth and Atherstone.

I took my dog to Riversmeet Tamworth yesterday for a senior pet health check as he is almost 11 and I had a few concerns about him. The receptionists were lovely and the practice was very clean and tidy. We were called in for my dog's appointment on time. The vet we saw was Simon Barrington-Ward who was very professional and checked all the things that I was concerned about. Simon was very kind and patient with my dog as he was wriggling about and wouldn't keep still for very long. Simon was very thorough and explained everything to me throughout the examination and again at the end. I'd like to thank Simon for being so kind to my dog and for giving him such a thorough examination. I was dreading taking my dog to the vets as he is so lovely and means the world to us but I'm so glad I did. He was prescribed some tablets and ear cleaner and my other concerns can be checked when necessary. We have been taking our dogs to Riversmeet Tamworth for 10 years and would definitely recommend them.

I first started taking my dogs to Riversmeet when one of them had a problem with his eyes and Riversmeet had specialist equipment and training to treat him. I was really pleased with the care he received and have been talking all my pets there ever since. Through routine and heartbreak I have always felt we have received excellent care and been treated with kindness when most needed.
