“My little pooch recently had a sleep over with Lisa from Pet Buddies. She had the best time, went on lots of walks, had lots of cuddles and had fun in the garden too! When I went to pick her up in the morning she has certainly made herself feel at home, she was bouncing around and looking completely relaxed. It was so nice to see. I would absolutely recommend Pet Buddies to all pet lovers out there!”
“Wow.....Petals Pet Boarding are FANTASTIC!! Our two bunnies just had an 11 day stay and they've had a brilliant time! The facilities are great and the place is so clean and well maintained. We've had loads of video and photo updates during their stay to let us know they were okay which was lovely. These guys really care about your pets and I would recommend anyone to use them.. . We will definitely be using them again. Thank you Petals Pet Boarding!! X”
“We have been coming to Hop-It Holidays for about 5 years and we don't go anywhere else. Our rabbits have stayed from 2 nights to 2 months. Really professional, knowledgeable and is just a great place for small animals. I know they are very knowledgeable about rabbits and very attentive so I know my two are in the best of hands when here and I can enjoy my holiday. The addition of the cameras helps to give peace of mind any time of day, wherever you are in the world. Highly recommended.”
“Great pet shop with a wider variety than other pet shops I've been to, and very reasonably priced depending on the item. Very attentive and helpful staff as well. Worth the visit!”
“1st rate for pets very attentive & compassionate. nurse was lovely to our cat only needed claws cutting but she acts like she's having surgery. very clean place”
“My husband and I can't recommend Riversmeet enough. Vet Simona Oprea especially has been brilliant with our dog 4 year old blue merle border collie, Woody. He is a complex & rare case with Systemic Lupus (causing liver issues), immune-mediated thrombocytopenia and steroid induced cushing's (causing hair loss and muscle wastage). She has tried everything and been a great support in his recovery. He is improving everyday with his treatment and we couldn't be more grateful.”
“Great shop, friendly staff and always well stocked”
“The hotel (1.9.22) was absolutely fine but the 5 stars relates to the two staff having to deal with the reception, bar and restaurant in the evening. They were short of drink at the bar and food in the restaurant but the staff couldn’t be more helpful, offering a free dinner due to a wait. Well done”
“Very helpful. Pharmacist always try to help with any issues. Delivery service is great. Thanks to all”

“Brilliant selection of raw foods to choose from depending on your doggos needs”
“First time my 2 Bedlington Terriers Flo & Meg were groomed at Happy Hounds last week - they look absolutely fantastic and have had so many compliments. They came home very relaxed and second appointment for the girls already made. Thank you so much ☺️”
“My little sausage dog came out of here smelling AMAZING , he never smelt like this at my last groomers, and he was not as anxious , i like that the dogs are groomed on a 121 basis due to my dogs anxiety, will be coming here from now onwards”

“Lovely fella, transported me to & from the Bearded Theory Festival at Catton Hall for a few days. Nothing too much trouble & always at the pick up point at the agreed time. Would recommend, gotta support your local Taxi drivers or you'll lose them.”
“Age and health are both making it difficult to keep on top of my dogs. However, having run my own grooming business for many years finding someone was never going to be easy. I am thrilled to have used Christina's services today and will certainly be back. Sonny loved her so that sealed the deal for me. Thank you so much Christina.”
“Tail Waggers are fantastic. The facilities are extremely clean and tidy, everything is very well organised. David and the team are all brilliant at looking after Honey and she is groomed to perfection every time!”
“Cliffords Cafe in Polesworth : Where Time is a Suggestion Seven out of Five Stars (The Scale Cannot Contain It) In an era dominated by artisanal sourdough and oat milk lattes served in reclaimed terracotta, Cliffords Cafe in Pol stands as a magnificent, defiant monument to the way things should be. This isn't just a café; it's a sensory immersion into a highly specific version of coastal Britain, circa 1993, and we are blessed to be its devotees. Stepping into Cliffords is like being wrapped in a blanket woven from the aroma of frying bacon, damp dog, and industrial-strength floor polish. The atmosphere is less "curated aesthetic" and more "everything we've owned since 1985, artfully placed." The décor is a stunning collision of plastic tablecloths (wiped clean with the dedication of a professional chef, yet retaining the ghosts of countless jam spills), mismatched mugs, and local notices thumbtacked over other, older local notices. The Architectural Marvel of the Toastie The menu here is a masterclass in clarity. There are no pretenders, no spiralized vegetables, and definitely no "deconstructed" anything. You are here for the classics, and Cliffords delivers them with the gravity of a papal decree. The Toastie, in particular, deserves its own monograph. It is not just toasted bread and cheese; it is a thermal insulation device, a pocket of molten dairy sealed into a crispy, golden rectangle. It demands a four-minute cool-down period before consumption, as the interior temperature is scientifically engineered to cauterize any latent dental issues. The chips are golden, plentiful, and retain a perfectly crisp exterior—a triumph of frying oil technology. Service & Philosophy The service at Cliffords operates on a beautiful, Zen-like principle: "It’ll be ready when it’s ready, and not a moment before." This is not slow service; this is forced meditation. It encourages mindfulness, prompting you to truly appreciate the simple things, like the sound of the kettle boiling, or the sight of the same local fisherman reading the same local paper he was reading yesterday. When your mug of tea arrives—a brew so robust it could probably strip wallpaper—you feel a profound sense of accomplishment. If you require chrome finishes, silent service, or a charging port at every seat, you misunderstand the assignment. Cliffords Cafe is the real deal: a beacon of greasy, cozy, unpretentious perfection. Go, order the largest portion of something fried, and allow yourself to be transported. You'll leave feeling full, warm, and profoundly grateful for the lack of irony.”
“It was the first time I ever had to leave my little whippet at a kennels and they were absolutely perfect for settling him in. There's a lower maximum capacity so for shyer dogs like him it's very quiet and not in the same universe of stressful as the larger ones. He had plenty of space, attention and even made a few friends which is not normal for a nervous puppy like him! Absolutely brilliant, felt very safe leaving him there. Will definitely be bringing him back for future visits!”
“The inn was full so we were invited to stay in a cottage. It was excellent. Three bedrooms one of them a king size bed with large room. Very comfortable lounge area, good wifi, lovely breakfast. Recommend this Inn or cottage.”
“Book directly and have breakfast included at a lower overall price. Free secure car parking right in the centre of town and you cannot go wrong. The people are lovely and the whole establishment is sparkling clean. Sometimes the reward of taking a risk and supporting the local independent pays off high dividends. I will stay here again for certain.”
“This is simply the best, most affordable place to get your griceries, diy necessities and virtually anything else. And all for affordable, discounted prices!”
“I am so grateful to have come across K9 Buddies. Shaun and Jo responded to my query almost immediately, came to meet with us on a BH weekend and set everything up immediately. We are lucky to have the amazing Alice who walks Cookie. He absolutely adores her and we’re pretty amazed by her too. She’s so attuned with Cookie and even makes sure he’s clean on return from a fun time with muddy paws. This Cookie at one of his walks with Alice living his happiest life!”
“Called ahead first to ask about bringing three of my service users (one learning disabilities and two complex needs). Couldn't be more helpful on the phone. Even suggested we could have a table in the quietest area. Once there, the staff were amazing. Extremely helpful, courteous and couldn't do enough to make sure our people were comfortable and stress free. Took the guys names so the bills didn't get confused and allowed us as much time as we needed at the table. Mitchell and Aaron, you were both brilliant and a credit to the pub. Thankyou both and we will definitely be back soon”
“Since opening in Middleton we have taken our daft bull breeds here. They are fantastic with them, understand that one is dog reactive & ensure the visits are stress free for both ours & other pets in at the time. If we have any worries time is made available for us to pop in, and the pups look forward to the cuddles & treats so are not at all nervous when we go. Highly recommended!”
